This game is what we long time halo gamers have been waiting for!
I immediately jumped into the online multiplayer, im level 21 so far, i love it. Can't complain! They really figured it all out this time! Seems like they got rid of the annoying betray & boot thing too.

Started the campaign on heroic and probably got half way through..
I'm really looking forward to new map packs!

i always start on legendary..... and now i'm stuck again lol.
if anyone wants to do the spartan ops on legendary or kick some ass in multiplayer add me.

Halo 4 is lacking the puch it needs to last more than a few months. It has top notch visuals, but lacks the core substance that made Halo strong and does nothing in particular to add onto that substance that made it a game that could be played for years on end.

The MP maps are fun for casual game-play, but get stale really fast because of the lack of competitive constancy and flexibility. Maximizing the advantages of the maps are fairly simple yet it still fails to encourage team maximization because of how spacious it is and the lack of 'key' areas where teams can almost always effectively engage enemies and support each other.

The vehicle battles are an improvement and so is the shooting mechanics. But like I said earlier, the lack of a skip gap really makes this game more like fast food than a 5 star gourmet dish.

Finally getting a chance to play it. Playing co-op with my daughter. I think its a pretty good game but it seems easier than the others.
I am playing it on normal which seems like the easy/recruit level would be like in Halo 3. After I beat on normal, ill go to hard and then legendary.
Thats how i usually do it, so 3 play throughs for every game I play.
And I didnt realize that AI's were able to grow. Cortanas boobs and butt got so much bigger

Halo 4 pushed a lot of the science fiction stuff to a new level, although it did remind me of xmen and stargate.

xmen when wolverine gets augumented with adamantium

stargate, how the chief got his DNA evolved like General O neil, the geas, how in stargate ancient have those DNA markers

Screw Microsoft, Im still waiting for Halo 3 on PC. I dont by consoles, screw them for giving us the first two then pretending they cant do a third when theres 2 other newer versions out.

I beat the campaign some weeks ago, its a good game. But the whole game is kind of like a prelude to the next one, the whole thing and the ending leaves everything open to be interpreted and does feel a bit rushed. I think cortana is dead, and the end scene you almost get to see mater chiefs face when they were removing his armor, but then it cuts to black. So I ques we will have to wait some years on the next x-box console for HALO 5 to really see what the rest of the game was about and what the didact was getting on about and the progression of the halo universe and storyline.

My kid just had to have Playstation 3. He would not listen. Now I have been screwed since no new Halo's on PC. Plus, why buy an XBOX now when the new one comes out next year? I am tempted though. Halo is such a great series. Oh well, I still got Battlefield 3 on PC, and a new video card. It's not so bad! ~$heopleNation
