Am i the only one that thought "WTF!" when i read this part?

Guess what? That's an apples and oranges analogy. Muslims (and Jews) are born into the religion whereas Christians are not, that is their tradition.

Change does happen, and not always for the better.

Who in the world told you that? People can convert to Islam and Judaism if they so wished and are willing to put in the effort. Likewise, there is nothing preventing people from converting to Christianity from other religions.

What would be the point of sending Christian missionaries around the world if people could not convert to Christianity?

Actually, Islam considers apostasy -- changing to another religion from Islam -- to be a capital offense, so there is a bit of a impediment to doing so.

That said, the OP is still amongst the most ridiculous and psychotic posts in the ATS political threads that I have ever read. President Drone is going to become head of the UN? I don't think so. At which point it will turn out that he is the anti-Christ??? Oh my goodness.

TTAA2012, congratulations for having lost all credibility. Apparently you aren't familiar with the story "Peter and the Anti-Christ".

Also love how this thread garners 40 flags. I really hope people flagged it for its humor value. If they flag it for its relevance, then uh... that says something very unflattering about ATS a certain segment of ATS members.

Obama was born to a Muslim father and that alone makes him a Muslim.

Really?

My parents are evangelical Christians and I am agnostic.

We are not our parents. If everyone was determined by who came before them change would never happen..

Ummm I was born into a Jewish family... like the real ones, from Israel, and I'm not a Jew... so...

Congratulations on the controversial thread, sparked a lot of discussion but I think this accusation borders on slander. The 666 connection was somewhat intriguing though.

I'm not saying it's impossible but I'm not buying it.

I think it's worth noting that no president, nor prime minister of any country has gone on to become secretary general of the United Nations. It would seem that a more likely candidate would be a secretary of state, equivalent to the many former 'foreign ministers' who have held the office of U.N Secretary General.

More biblical nonsense from the fringe of religious zealots imho, give us something tangible. Bigotry and slander makes for most of the filler in your post op. Your post was filled with anti-islamic undertones. I am really sick of hearing how Obummer is a "mooslim" and a "socialist" blah blah blah. He just happens to be another used care sales man that sold us his sales spiel of false promises like all politicians do and we got a raw deal. Have some respect for other folks religious beliefs will ya? Bashing their prophet and then pretending to hold the moral high ground is absurd and quite the opposite of Christ message. Love your neighbor This thread belongs in the grey area or on the shelf of a barnes and noble.

It's not so much the prospect of a corrupt president that scares me, it's the level of ignorance what the doom porn peddlers will stoop to that I find disturbing.

Why is it that if you are against Obama that you are considered racist or against anyone that is different than you at all. Why can't it just be that you don't like his policies or that you don't think he has done anything that he promised he would do when he was elected in the first place?
However, if you are a not African-American, and you don't like Romney, then that is perfectly o.k.
As far as religion goes, the hypocrisy is just as bad...It's not o.k. to disagree with Muslim beliefs, however it's o.k. to disagree with Mormons. I just don't get it. Can someone please explain to me how this works??
Muslims ARE the most violent of religions. They also commit the most atrocious acts against women of all religions.
Mormons don't treat women as equals either, but you don't see them stoning women if they cheat on their husband, or try to leave him.
And you can say not ALL Muslims stone women in that case, but they are the only religion that still includes that in their laws in any country in the world. The fact that it happens at all shows that the teachings are there...And you can bet that 98% of the reason that Muslims in America don't practice these laws is because here they get prosecuted by our government. In the Muslim led countries it is encouraged, and in most cases, it's even required.
Alas, this will fall on deaf ears, and the hypocrites will argue... Ignorance is bliss I guess. Denial is the easiest place for the mind to exist.

It's fine to be against Obama, that's one's choice. But if you're against him for very ridiculous, unfounded and/or unproven reasons such as:

He's a crypto Muslim
He supports the Muslim Brotherhood
He's actually Kenyan by birth
He follows his father's tenets of "anti-colonialism) -- whatever that means, and as if being anti-colonial is bad
He's a communist/fascist/socialist anymore than many other US politicians
He's committed treason and murder in this Benghazi incident, but you think George W. Bush was a fine president
He's maneuvering for head of the UN and is actually the anti-Christ
He hates America
He does not understand America
He's the anti-chist

then your arguments are extreme hyperbole based on not much or nothing and all, and one wonders why such extreme and ludicrous claims are being made about this president, but have never been made against any others, and one reasonable hypothesis is that it is, at least in part, because of the color of his skin and/or his interracial background.

As for the purported religious bigotry you claim, I haven't seen so much defending of Islam, as of defending against attackers of Islam, i.e. people claiming that Islam is a religion of hate and violence. There's plenty of hate and violence by Christians, Jews and those of other religions too, so singling out Islam for this just seems like targeted religious bigotry. There is also a whole lot of claiming Obama is a Muslim and supports the Muslim brotherhood and that he is not Christian -- although he would seem to be as Christian as the next politician claiming to be so.

With respect to Romney and Mormonism, I have heard some jibes about his religion, such as talk about magic Mormon underwear. There is also the point made that Mormon theology until recently has looked down on people of color, considering them to be of a lesser strain of man/woman, i.e. having the mark of Cain. Until the 1970's African Americans were limited in their ability to progress in the Mormon Church, and even in the 80's African Americans weren't allowed in at least some Tabernacles. Since Romney is a member of this religion, these tenets of it would seem to be fair game. If a Muslim runs for president, his/her religion can be made an issue as well.

Bottom line: there is a difference between bringing up untoward aspects of the religion of a person campaigning for office, and coloring an entire religion and all its members in a negative way and all being violent and hate-filled. You bring up the stoning of women by Muslims. Yes, this occurs in some cultures, but certainly not all Muslims accept this as correct. In Hindu culture there is a segment of the population that believes that widows should burn themselves, does that mean all Hindus buy that? No. By bringing up the stoning of women in Islam you are painting all Muslims with one brush, which is what fighters of anti-Islam bigotry raise a cry about. There are extreme sects of Christianity too, and the Catholic Church hierarchy has a document history of protecting pedophiles, but I don't see anyone claiming that all Catholics are pedophiles, or that all Christians hold the extreme views and practices of some Christian sects.

Well. If you read Revelations 13.7 it states, "He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." Obama power to conquer them??? When will it ever end? Good grief. I feel like that little 4 yr old girl crying in the video... I am so tired of all this political crap...

So.....If you believe in that, it appears we are a long long way off.....Do I even think Obama is the so-called anti christ? Nope.....There is NO way he could even come close!

We believe this as to mean an organization of sorts to receive this power, not some "anti-christ" individual.

What if Romney is the AC?

in the spring of 1968, Mr. Romney, then a Mormon missionary in France, had a scare of a different sort. He was at the wheel of a tiny Citroën, cruising along a country road, when a Mercedes rounded a curve and crashed into his car, head on. One of his passengers — the wife of the French mission president — was killed. Mr. Romney, by all accounts not at fault, was knocked unconscious and mistakenly pronounced dead at the scene.

Maybe he was dead and came back to life? Hmmm, sorry to throw a wrench, BUT....

a politically incorrect but relevant question:

who is more black,Michael Jackson or BarakObama?

how is this relevant? I believe many Americans vote for him solely because they think he is black.

his mother is white and did you know he is also related to Dick Cheney?

One can see a similar social phenomenon with Tiger Woods.
where are the protestors?
Another question that may be off topic. when bush was in office. protestors said we should end the wars (i agree). but barak had a Democratic Congress and is still starting wars

Vision Dream by T.D. Hale

Dec. 28, 2011…: “In my dream I saw myself going across America, as if I was floating, but I had no fear. The land looked like it was bombed, totally destroyed. I saw people standing out around their homes weeping, holding onto each other, there were a few that lay dead. I heard someone say, “This should never have happened, this should never have happened.”

Natural destruction or something had hit America, no food, no water… babies were crying, grownups, men all crying, holding onto their families, begging God for mercy. As I moved along the way I saw people running, looking for loved ones missing…totally out of their minds.

I quickly came over a large city, looked like it was Columbus, Ohio. As I came close, there it were the riots that we have all heard about. Store windows busted, grabbing what they could get. But I could tell they were not too concerned about T.V.’s, I-pads, etc. They were grabbing food, water, chips, things to survive on. Riots, fighting. I even saw one man shot to death.

As I left that place, going like a speed of light, I was standing on the back side of the White House. I looked up and there was Barak Obama on the balcony, holding a shot gun. I heard a loud scream… really loud. I turned my head to see where the scream came from. Flying high in the air was an eagle, majestic, flying around Washington DC.

I saw Barak Obama point the shot-gun at the eagle and shot it dead. It fell to the ground. I looked up at Obama and he had a smile on his face. These were the words I heard: “I’ve done it, and I won’t have to deal with this in my administration.”

It was dead silent. At that moment, I heard a Voice that said, “Tell the people this is my will. This is my hand, both upon the generation of the righteous and upon the cursed. The righteous will find their way and know what to do. The cursed will wander around with no compass. The cup is full!”

To the contrary, Obama is nothing more than a "Houseboy" for the Globalists whose figurehead is the Queen of England but you don't have to look far from that tree for your Anti-Christ; Prince William, Duke of Cambridge KG KT (William Arthur Philip Louis;[fn 1] born 21 June 1982), is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales, and third eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.[2] He is second in the line of succession, behind his father, to the thrones of sixteen independent sovereign states known as the Commonwealth realms: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
