Father angered over his son's suspension assaults school bus escort, calling her 'stinking Ethiopian'.

An resident of the northern city Kiryat Bialik is suspected of allegedly assaulting Ziona Mangistu, a public service employee in charge of escorting municipality school buses.

There is growing animosity from izraelis towards African asylum seekers.

Earlier in the year, thousands of izraelis had taken to the streets shouting "infiltrators, get out of our homes, our streets are no longer safe for our children."

Many refer to izrael as an apartheid state.

Never ceases to amaze me how a group of people who were the victims of genocide can have such hatred and contempt for others.

First off, I highly doubt any of those punks were alive during or experienced the genocide.

Wow, this is blown completely out of proportion.

Amazing how a single incident in Israel (the majority of Israelis are NOT racist, btw) becomes world news. I wonder what perception could be created if we singled out some other country for some domestic issue. Are all Americans anti-mexicans? Or anti-native Americans? Or anti-blacks?

The way you're trying to take this single example and elevate it to a general censure of Israeli society - and to use such an argument as proof that claims against Israel as an apartheid state (which, btw, is usually made in the context of being anti-Arab, not anti-Ethiopian...but why stick to the facts when you have an opportunity to connect this with the apartheid libel?) are valid, is absurdly dishonest.

But then again, this is normal for you guys.

Only goes to show who the good guys are, and who the bad guys are.

Makes one wonder whether that was the reason "they" were hated so much in the first place.

Things haven't changed much. Israel has been involved in SEVEN wars with it's neighbours in the last 60 years.

Talk about someone you don't want to move in next door....

I have no issue with the people in general , but the whole regime needs to go.
