Well I would say require a police report claiming rape, a life or death exemption from a doctor, or the father's signature in order to obtain an abortion, but how many women do you think would abuse that system as well?

And by the way, that's not my solution, it's my compromise.

My kids father was adopted - - - doesn't change my position in any way.

I consider abortion an unselfish act. There is no guarantee an adopted child will be treated well. I would never take that chance with a child.

Thousands of children are up for adoption. People do not need babies to be parents.

You are right, I do not like that word, when we are talking about a child. Sad state of the world, when people can call a child a parasite. Wow. Makes me sad as hell.

What's wrong with forcing a woman to carry and deliver her rapist child? What's not wrong with it? It's slavery for one thing. Your position completely ignores the emotional well being of the mother and the hatred and resentment that is being pumped into the developing child can't be good.

It punishes the victim based on biology, as if the biology of reproduction mechanisms is sacred and is more important than the emotional and psychological well being of the mother. Would you force your daughter to carry a rapist's child against her will, knowing full well that you could ease her pain with a medical procedure?

Annee, you are so funny! I never said I wanted you to think like me or for that matter even like me. Everyone has an opinion, they are kind of like butt holes, everyone has one, but it doesn't mean we all have to agree. I seen you capacity for thinking, parasite = baby, garbage = aborted babies and children. I don't like it, but at the end of the day, you have to live with your decisions and so do I.
