Love is lost, sensual whispers soft.
Soo alone, heart is set in stone.

Though we move through life and see no end
to things that we held dear.

Today I am just a shadow.
Though I am all alone
I see the light of affection,
but no longer in my home.

Just walk the path from point to end
It may one day cross back.

Sad, desolate and lost
The heart is a strange beast
looking back in the mirror
Will this hunger cease

Just tear down this facade I made.
I cannot bear much more

Passion was the time.
That I swam in back then.
Now I sit in silence
fixated on the end

The "inspiration" is that feeling you have at the end of a relationship that you don't want to end, nearly at stalking level, feeling like the world is ending and your just a hollow shell due to the loss, etc.

aka, all emo n stuff

i know the feeling.

very well written work.

shakespere said "tis better to have loved and lost than yadda yadda yadda"

but sometimes i think that was just some cruel jape.

My fave of all the short stories... hit a sentimental nerve in me. Has a good feel to it all the way around. Nice, S + F.

I loved that part...
I think it is something that many can relate to

My personal interpretation....
It reminds me of that gut wrenching feeling of wanting something so bad
But knowing it is in the past

I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing!
