You're both welcome.

Early warning

To think that the December 2012 writing contest would not be about 21.12.20012 is akin to the old notion of an ostrich burying its head in the sand. This message is for those members who like to pay particular attention to subtle hints provided far prior to an actual contest being announced, so that they have ample time to think of the possible scenarios that hoary old prophecy might entail.

Oh the irony if none of us are around to see who won!

God its been so long since I've posted on ATS, but I just had to enter two poems I wrote for the contest. lol. It does feel good to be back though. So many great poems, not sure how they are going to pick a winner.

Roll the dice, bunny extraordinaire, roll the dice.

If New Years rolls around and we still survive, we may see the winners. If not, really, who will care?

Thanks to masqua for taking my shabby poem "What if she had said yes", and making it into something beautiful for my mom.
Lol, I feel a little dumb about the punctuation. It's just that when I am writing this kind of stuff the punctuation doesn't seem to register (maybe I am too wrapped up in getting the words down?).
Thanks you so very much, again.
Quad.

Meh, 1999 was a bust. Why should we expect anything more from 2012?

I don't.

You don't seem to.

Others might

Others might not

We'll all find out by 2013, won't we? So why not have some fun with it?

Sometimes love is found and sometimes love is lost. Sometimes it lasts forever and sometimes it just comes to an end.

Reunited

I wrote this during some of my darkest days, but I made it through the other side.

It has been read by several people (none of whom understood what it was saying). Perhaps it is because I lack a poetic soul. LoL

I added this one. It deals with different loves (and losses) on different levels. Be warned though, it is LONG.

Couldn't resist as I love poetry.

One more - This poem is about a woman who meets a sad end to a love.

Lol I might just weaken and do a third. Hard to resist this great thread. There is a lot of beautiful creative talent here Masqua!

Masqua, do you have a count of all the entry's thus far?
I don't believe I have ever seen so many writing contest entry's on the "Recent Post" board.
They are everywhere!
Or maybe I am just noticing them now because I actually entered one.

I am trying to keep up but ATS is popping them out faster than I can read them.
LOTS OF TALENT OUT THERE!
keep up the good work. I am really enjoying it.
With all that being said.......
I can't believe I am getting beat out by a drunk driving, tinhat wearing, dancing bunny
