Haunting, Thrilling or disturbing movies which made your skin gooseflesh.

When i was 17, me and my girlfriends went to movies to watch Exorcist, i remember i slept with lights on about week after seeing it and my bff said she slept month in her parents room.

Later when i was in legal age we went to see Manitou, scary too at that time

Stephen Kings Children of the Corn

When I was younger..
Dark night of the scarecrow. I think it was a made for TV movie but it scared the heck out of me.

Now...
Horror is my favorite genre, so it takes a lot more to scare me. I can't think of any recent ones.

YEP. Was just discussing this with my daughter this morning. Some of the older movies are more cheese than scary. But to this day...
Communion scares the heck out of me.The scene where he is inside the craft with all the aliens and the little children..oh it's the little one crying and the child speaks up " She wants her mommy"..
*chokes
Gets me every time.
One other one I never got over..
Fire in the Sky based on Travis Walton's abduction.
Aliens just do it for me...scare me to freakin' death. Period.

Hi. I love spooky movies! Both of these are pretty creepy...

"Them" (ils)

"The Children" (2008)

I'm going to see Sinister tonight it looks pretty good and I liked Insidious so hopefully it will be good for a few scares.

Great picks ! Every time when children are involved with evil it feels extremely scary cos you wish never any harm to them. Sometimes i feel its extremely cruel from movie industry to let this happen, movies like this fights against moral and ethics we have learnt.

the video in the ring... not the movie, but the actual video they watch in the movie that kills you. That # freaked me out for months, hell it still gets under my skin. I don't know what it is about it, but that girl combing her hair, the nail going through the finger nails, the horse jumping off the boat, it just scares the hell outa me.

My list:
The original slasher film..."Susperia" Scared the crap out of me at 11 years old.
Exorcist
The Unholy... Kind of cheesy, but they used a real demon (I researched it)
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Halloween
The Amityville Horror

I have not seen "Manitou," but I read the book. Scary stuff.

Fire In The Sky
Excorcist
Hellraiser

Honorable Mention: Jaws
I only mention this movie (which I love and watch once or twice a year) because to this very day I will not go into ocean water much above my waist. When I was little, I was scared to even go into a swimming pool. I don't think any other movie has had that kind of psycological effect on me.
