Hi, guys I am new at this website.

I think that´s the one of the meanness things a person can do to a child.
To tramatize him. It´s nothing, but, a coward act.

The man needed to bring himself, of his LOW self-esteem to show the little boy, that he, had more power; Useing his uniforn with a wapon, to scare the boy. As he did not succeeded to scare the boy, he got mad... And acttact the poor boy. The guy most be MAD!!!

Christopher J. Webb Correspondence

This concerns me even more :
In the words of the officer Webb, quote

"I knew the boy's name was Ryan and escorted him to the bathroom to help clean him up."

Why did he need to "clean him up" ?

. . . something is off by his own testimony.

The thing is, everyone expect ALL cops to be amazing. That's what we all want, but cops are still humans, there are still cops that are complete douchebags such as this one. Most cops are great, and like you, I defend them on an average basis, if there were no cops, it would be complete hell, people are uncivilized and just don't care about anything these days. It's like when people say "F*** THE POLICE" after being arrested for drugs/trespassing or any other serious crime. The police are only doing their job, absolutely no reason to hate them for it, but i'm straying from the topic here. Point being, most cops are excellent at what they do, but others such as this one, should lose their page and go to jail instantly.

Gee with all these incidents that seem to be on the increase you'd almost think there was a conspiracy to hire dumb asses like this in order to pit the people against the police...?

I always say there is no situation so bad the cops can't make it worse...

We expect all Police to be competent at there chosen profession. Amazing would be a stretch way to far. I would argue when they put on there uniform they become arrogant and impassive to all. It seems to change who they are but then again power corrupts does it not? If human nature changed for the better then there would be no need for the draconian measures that the Police enforce in todays society. Remember the SS and Gestapo would claim they were only doing there job! IMHO most cops are nothing more than control freaks that were probably bullied all there life until the doned their uniform. My point being the desire to become a police man should preclude them even being considered for the job, same with politicians!

I lived in NM for 27 years, and I personally know people in the state and local police departments.... there are A LOT of bullies, and A LOT of " shoot first ask questions later!"

I agree with you. There is good and bad in everything and in everyone. But, I disagree that we should write that mixture off as 'normal human behavior'. I want to be able to trust cops when I defend them. I want to see the bar on ethics and standards and human decency raised. I want honor back in the badge.

I used to want to be a cop. Now, I just hope I don't get tasered and tackled by one for being hearing impaired and law-abiding.

Would you trust your life to a thousand link chain with just one bad link?

One is all it takes.

BTW the other 999 know about the 1 and they have this code of silence and cover up thing going.

I wonder if HawkeyeNation would apply the same logic to pedophiles Priests? Father Ted said it best

Niamh Connolly: “I hope it’s not some hideaway for paedophile priests. That whole thing disgusted me.”

Father Ted: “Well, Niamh, we’re not all like that. Say there’s 200 million priests in the world, and 5% of them are paedophiles, that’s still only 10 million.”

How many police are there on the planet?

LoL

Why should anyone be required to work for free?
Even if they are only 10.

Well the cops side of the story is that it was a mistake. Doesn't make it OK but it's a lot less infuriating than tasing a kid purposefully. He was doing taser demo, asked who wanted to clean the car joking, kid jokes no, cop jokes then you get tased then tasers kid. Was really stupid and he should have called paramedics but people clamping for the guy to get beaten up or thrown in jail are overreacting.
Ummm........sorry, that load of tripe just didn't sail, must of been on the good ship Bounty. Was it you that tased the kid? I mean, really, your actually defending this jackbooted thug. We all know what a little Leo lover you are but this is really bending over to take it from "the man" and wearing that cheshire smile all the while.
There is NO EXCUSE for this kind of behavior by a police officer.......NONE, yet you somehow were able to reach into your little sack of oddities and whip one out. Wow, pure patheticism.............You sir...get the YouSir are an, award. I'll let all of the other sane posters in this thread supply the adjective...

YouSir

If he was just demoing the taser, why did he have the safety flipped off?

I have been thinking for a while that cops should be chosen from the local community in an election. Each local community, even in large cities, should be choosing their own police from their own community. That way everyone knows who he/she is and the connection to the community would be much deeper. I think it is important for the police to know who they are in charge of protecting.

Some people say that police should not work in the same community they live due to the risk of someone wanting to take out revenge. Well, I say if the cop is working in the same community as he/she lives they are less likely to do something which would make someone want to desire revenge.

If this is proven to be true I hope this officer gets more than sued, he should face the full extent of the law and end up in jail.

The LEO is alleged to have said:

“‘Let me show you what happens to people who do not listen to the police.’”

What kind of psycho tazes a ten year old?

Since this is not officially proven I cannot confirm this actually happened but it appears to be legit due to witness accounts. If legit, this officer is a real sicko.

How many more stories like this must we hear about before we stand up and demand a change in the screening process when it comes to hiring LEO's.

Not all cops are bad but there sure are a lot of "bad apples".

I used the Infowars as my main source since they reported it first, but I included other links for those of you who dislike Infowars.

The other links copy and paste directly from infowars with no additional quotes, so they carry no additional legitimacy on their own. Not saying it did or didn't happen, or if it did then it is clearly showing one side and one side only so without any kind of balance, it's just another 'hate the police' thread without anything to back it up.

Even reading that account of it, I think the officer should be fired. Who wants someone that stupid in charge of a real gun? When I owned a taser I knew enough to never point it at a living thing, not even a pet. I don't even point a can of bathroom cleaner at anybody. I know police can be incredibly reckless. During the holidays the bank I worked for years ago employed off duty police as extra security. We had one idiot who was flirting and trying to show off to the college girl tellers by unholstering and twirling his gun around and recklessly pointing it at the rest of us. Why he thought that would impress us, i have no idea. He was that level of stupid i guess. I was shy and barely out of college myself but I ripped him a new one and told him to put that gun back in the holster or I'd report him. He sheepishly agreed.

Idiots.
