Perhaps because Christie has enough class not to say "oh you are so racist you are only helping such and such and you are deliberately hurting such and such".

Ok I stand corrected, now I have read the earlier page where it was posted.

Michael Savage said that Bush Jr was a fiscal socialist. I think that is entirely possible and that RINOs have been adjusting the Republican Party to comply with Democrat Socialism. Yes the two parties are becoming one in the neither left nor right Hegelian synthesis.

A lot of people were alarmed by the reorganization of govt emergency services during Katrina. Evidently when Bush centralized bureaucratic powers it was a hideous abuse and racial discrimination, but when Bobo does it, he is hailed as a "leaning forward" civil servant.

I never liked Bush but it doesn't mean I had to disagree with him on everything. I think that centralized powers are needed, and one case is emergency response, the military etc, that much is clear. So Bush was right. As a side note, he did a crack job of developing renewable energy in Texas. Kudos to him.

Well I guess what mattered the most was that Bush's appointees didn't do very well. I'm not saying Obama's people are much better, but hey, perceptions matter. And they learned from mistakes made by others before them.

Serious about what?? Where did I say I agree with Third Eye that this is a communist thing? I don't think I have. As far as I'm concerned, Obama is a corporate stooge. A NWO puppet. So your saying he never speaks with high ranking military officers that might use the term? You must not have sat in on many training meetings or planned operations if you've never heard it.

Could also be that its more prevalent in the infantry/Special Ops/Intel fields. Seems like we were always being told to lean forwards and prepare for or to draft an OpOrd for something. In the past, I heard it so often that I associated it with "lean forward and grab your ankles"; 'cause it meant that we were working late again.

When someone is working they typically lean forward towards the job. He's saying there is work to be done and we have to do it.

Your posts are amazing. You try to make a big deal out of anything. And by anything I mean nothing at all. Wow he used the phrase "lean forward" in describing government agencies' efforts, and you claim "forward" is his campaign slogan (if it is, I certainly haven't heard it).

You're pissed because the president is handling this national emergency well and -- for heaven's sake -- he may be doing in part to make himself look good for the upcoming election. Politicians aren't supposed to do that???? Give us a break.

During Romney's sham "hurricane relief" event, he wasn't even sure where the supplies were going. Did you see the video where he is saying where the supplies are going? So are you saying Romney is not trying to use the hurricane for campaigning purposes? Moreover, the Romney campaigned claimed that it was going stop the divisive rhetoric in his campaign for a few days in respect of the hurricane victims, but by the end of the very same day Romney was slamming Obama again in a campaign speech. Not only are your claims absurd, they show an extreme double standard on your part because you don't hold Romnesia to the same standard -- not even close.

Bottom line: Obama looks good in the national emergency and the right-wing-asphere can't stand it and you're getting apoplectic over it. TFS.
