And etc. An argument stands or falls on its own merits. DIsmissing it offhand because of the source is a well-known logical fallacy. No matter who says it, the planet still revolves around the sun. That said, the less credible the source, the more scrutiny should be applied to the claim. I know Beck has a reputation for being theatrical, but I don't know much about his content. Has he been known to lie or perpetrate hoaxes in the past?

We haven't yet brought Bush and Cheney to justice over 1) their failure to stop 9/11, that they had already been warned about, but wanted to happen, because they wanted a Pearl Harbor to start a war with Iraq, and 2) the invasion of Iraq, which they orchestrated with lies, and caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, but made some defense contractors very rich. So why don't you make a fuss about that before you complain about Obama's relatively insignificant alleged misdeeds?

Please read the book "Extreme Prejudice" by the CIA asset Susan Lindauer. She is a bit of a whiner and repeats herself too much, but it is always best to get your facts from the inside.

This thread is a prime example of why Americans largely deserve everything that is happening to them. When the founders set-up our nation they gave us a responsibility to know what was happening and take an active role in our own government. Which, of course, we promptly ignored after awhile and just left it all up to the rich oligarchy to take care of it for us.

Honestly, if any of us (by us I mean Americans at large) actually gave a crap we would have had a revolution like 100 years ago. Instead we have people in this thread who obviously do not have attention spans longer than one term of a presidency. I'm fairly young, and I've been alive for 5 U.S. presidents and they've all been different levels of crooks. Please spare me your righteous indignation about Obama, unless you're willing to lead the revolution of course.

well thats just a little cynical. you are right that most people can't do anything about this. but there are SOME people who can. technicians, low level clerks, guards, cleaning staff. someone knows something. and those people have friends. those people have relatives. and some of those people just might be ATS readers. and just maybe they could be convinced to come forward. some one has pieces to this puzzle.

I agree with you. People do not pay attention until they are starving. People are then easily manipulated by jerks like Beck and Limbaugh and O'Reilly. These jerks agenda is the real conspiracy. But you cannot research or analyze the issue in a reasonable way with anyone who has been inducted into the Fox News cult. It truly is like a cult but with millions of members.
The other major media outlets are also greatly corrupted.

I'm a UK citizen so I must have missed something. Where is the evidence to back up the claim that it's a fact he knew ? There must be one or more of :

* Video footage of him being presented with the information.
* Admittance by him that he knew
* Legal Signed witness statements by others saying he knew.

For one thing, it is the president’s job to KNOW things! The flash message would have got to him within that hour.

Here’s a thought, what happened if the ambassador sent a flash message saying America was going to be nuked within the next couple hours or so? Do you think THAT message would have made it to him sooner than later, or does the president just pick and choose what is important?
