It would be nice if other countries and the E U icluding Britain offered to help the US in the wake of this
hurricane. No one has said anything yet from what I can make out.
No one has offered a hand by. I feel sorry for the President. All everyone goes on about is the elections.
I'm sorry but I don't think there's any contest. Good luck to everyone. I for one am thinking of you all at this difficult time.

Everyone beyond hates us and is over all the bs everywhere.
Game Over.
This is just an appetizer before the main course.
EU and Asia know they got to eat it to.

This hurricane is no big deal other than the fact it hit NY city and even then it will help clean up that garbage dump.

Well..well..well.

The EU is already in major difficult economic times. I doubt that Sandy is the 1st thing on their mind.
Greece, Spain, Italy are on the verge of socio-economic collapse. I doubt they care about this disaster.

Additionally...I do not think that it was tragic enough. Death toll wise, compared to other disasters. I think the East coast was well prepared for this. It is more of a property damage that brings up the costing. Most of that will be covered up by Insurance and federal government.

But just like you good old sir. I do wish that it all goes well for them, even though at the moment there are no signs of help available from others.

The offers are already rolling in.

A Pakistani militant leader with a $10 million U.S. bounty on his head has offered aid to Americans hit by superstorm Sandy.

This seems to be on a different tangent.
Why don't other countries offer assistance and aid to the US?

Here is one offer to assist, but is it welcomed?

Lahore: JuD chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, the 2008 Mumbai attacks mastermind and for whom the US has offered a bounty of $10 million, today said his organisation was ready to help Americans affected by the superstorm Sandy. “We are ready to send food items, medicines and doctors to the US for the people affected by the storm,” Saeed said. He said though the US had put a bounty on his head, it was the duty of Muslims to help fellow human beings, irrespective of their faith, during a natural catastrophe.

I mean sending over specialist teams to help sort the infrastructure out. Not economic help.
It's lousy, no country whoever they are should be left to get on with it, without as a goodwill gesture the offer of help.

If my neighbours house blew down one day and I saw it , I wouldn't just stand there.

Actually,we take care of our own,or so they say.
But I'm sure any assistance from other countries would be appreciated.

Well, unless I have missed something, there still appears to be an earie silence from this side of the pond!
So much for the 'Special relationship'. David Cameron is still trying to act intelligent and at the moment is nit picking with the EU as he likes to do with everyone. Queeny, God bless her has been abnormally quiet too! You would have thought she would have sent a get well card to the Canadians at the very least!
I really don't understand how mean spirited one can be. I'm just a girl who's met aliens! Who is stuck in time.
As for Cameron, the sooner he goe's the better. For God sake don't let Obama go! You don't want a pratt like Mitt, Mick, whatever his name is?, Bush or Cameron in.
Sorry for going off at a tangent, but its oly because I care!
