...only because it's already occurring and they need to legitimize it.

Cannot really see the point in UN and USA criticizing China, Iran, etc doing exactly this on their citizens, and even used that argument as a basis for various pressures.

It is apparent, the UN approach serves an agenda - as much as the idea of "freedom" has served an agenda. But somehow, "freedom" (or give US & allies' intelligence community better access) sounds much better than the Orwellian plan from UN (or DHS).

At what point do the protectors become the terrorists?

I think it's fair to say that this point has passed a long time ago.

The "protectors" have always been the "terrorists" in my opinion.

A former "leader" of the "Free World", G.W. Bush, once said: "War on Terrorism" is about protecting freedom and democracy"

So, does this mean that the "terrorists" won ?

If the whole "war on terror" charade was about protecting our "freedom" from people who wanted to "take" it away than this is capitulation.

War on terror is just a carte blanche for our governments to do as they please, and they are not stopping here.

Bend over folks, your governments know whats best for you.

This is a great thread I honestly feel the exact same way. Especially at the end about the comment about the US having to be transnational, they really just want to get rid of us because were gaining ground. Especially when 2 people like us just agree on the exact same thing and I dont know you personally. Im hoping this isnt premeditated to cause a backlash and riots on a large scale. Im checkin out your other threads right now!
