That would be both awesome and terrifying at the same time. Having that many storms colliding is a rare event, and will be something the world will remember for years to come. On the other hand, expect more storms like this become more frequent.

It isnt over yet, the reports i am seeing are saying Long island is now experiencing major flooding, some of the buildings on the shore have up to 6 feet of water in the ground floors of the structures.

Parts of lower Manhattan are now out of power for at least a week, all the mass transit systems are down, and the subways have begun to flood with sea water.

This is only the beginning, we still have around an hour until the storm surge even hits.

But no baseball size hailstorm in tokyo yet

That's precisely what concerns me though, that it will be something the world remembers for years to come. After all we have had significant parts of our country shut down, which for all we know could cause things to significantly worsen for us...of course that depends on whether they intend to deep-six us now or later of course.

And all the actors arent trying to save everyone. I think your being way to litteral here, it is obvious from my op i am specifically referencing NY, and the results of the superstorm on the city, or is english not your first language?

Oh I get it, your having a bad day and thought you would troll my thread to feel better about it, no such luck though, I am troll proof.

I declare this world free and equal. Everyone stand up for equality and do not fear bullies, make them, SHARIA and the whole crap load, stand down. Make them stand under you.

This is a very bad plan, they have done themselves. I denounce and renounce their plans.

while everybody says NO!!! just log on to google earth with weather feature and see how this storm is drawing moisture fron out of the Pacific and a strong band of moisture goes all the way up into the Finns....really amazing for a cat 1 and now just a storm but nothing is breaking up about it. Something to think about when we think we know everything.

I guess in a way it is like a scene from day after tomorrow, now that i see all the pictures of subways flooded and water everywhere... Sucks to be in NY

People like to make thinngs what they aren't. Sometimes because of hope - positive. And sometimes because for the excitement of action/drama.

i'm gonna be the one person to agree with you. it's not exactly like the movie (come on people - don't take things so literal).... but it does remind me of it. the movie pushed everything into overdrive for entertainment but i do think it was based on events we would start seeing.... like sandy. obviously we're not all going to freeze overnight BUT this storm does indeed remind me of the movie.
