Voting for one of the two parties is the only thing that gives these idiots the false sense of security and hope that they can actually make a difference... that their beloved nation is actually a democracy!

Most are far too blinded by patriotic propaganda to even bother with. Let them bask in their blissful ignorance until the truth smacks them across the face... it's too late in the game anyway.

The day will come when the blind will have no choice but to open their eyes and see.

Ehhh F it, I can look past everything! Mitt “ran” a few businesses so he’s good for ‘merica; I can look past the thousands of jobs he outsourced and the way he works the system to pay 15% tax, when I pay close to 50%. I can look past the fact that he would be doing data entry at some sh88ty insurance company if his dad wasn’t rich and gave him the means to invest. I can look past the fact that he is a member of a cult (that’s what Mormonism is) and that he has been documented “flip –flopping” (lying) more than 30 times this election alone. I can look past the fact that the majority of his Political strategy team was taken directly from Bushes 2 terms, and will return to making decisions for this country if Mitt wins. I can look past the fact that he was the architect of the system known as “Obama care” and implemented it in MA, yet I hate Obama care! Plus he’s not NObammma and anyone but Obama is good! At least he thinks homosexuals shouldn’t have the same rights as me and makes sure those darn women don’t have to make important decisions about their bodies. I definitely like how he will turn Iran to glass because they are scary middle easterners (for no reason) and keep arresting little old ladies in California for taking some dabs because it’s the only thing making their cancer livable.
Most importantly I can look past the fact that the same people, who made Romney’s campaign possible, are the same people funding Obama.
I’m so smart and politically savvy, I watch Fox News and Drudge report so f you.

Ehhhhhhh f it, I can look past everything! Obama is “cool” and I like his smile so ill vote for him right? Plus Samuel L and a bunch of other celebrities that I worship endorsed him so that means he’s “bada88”, even the Kardashians! Plus Michelle Obama has taken sugar away from our kids for their own wellbeing and I don’t want the responsibility of having to think about my kid’s health anymore,...Obama will! Plus they are using tracking devices in Texas to make sure I never have to give a siit about where my kids are again, even though an attendance sheet works fine and costs a penny! Bill Clinton says I should vote for Obama also! Everyone says Bill is so cool because he did something illegal once, got head from a heavy set intern and lied about us being in a surplus during his term! I can look past the fact that Obama sealed all his relevant records and was a junior Senator that didn’t do a thing while in office, before that he was a “community organizer” in Chicago. But he’s qualified to dictate how I live….right!

The TV tells me that everyone else is voting for Obama so he must be the best right?! They polled 500 senior citizens who only have land lines and made sure to call them at 5pm when every other sensible person was eating dinner and didn’t pick up; those polls are 100% accurate for all of America right?

I don’t care that in a court of law I can prove Obama guilty of the murder of at least 2 Americas without due process, I still hope he will change and not do it again! I can look past the fact that he made sure the Clause FOR detention of Americans without Due process stays in the NDAA 2012, and of course extended the Patriot act! Also, I can look past the fact that he always waives his magic wand (executive order) and buries all the relevant information about Fast and furious to protect his and his buddy Holders a88, even though it has been responsible for the death of Americans and many more innocent Mexicans.

I can look past the 20+ “clean” energy companies that Obama made me pay for (taxes) that have out right failed ( it’s just a coincidence that the owners of some of the said companies were Obama campaign donors!). I can look past the fact that he has mounted on more debt than all other presidents combined and now my kids, and their kids mathematically can NEVER pay the 16 trillion debts off! (It will be 20-30 T+ by then, that compounding interest is a pest!). I can look past the fact that he is arming the weather service, IRS and other redundant government agencies with millions of hollow point bullets for my safety. I can look past the billions of aid we send to countries that actively try and kill us, while a million kids go to bed hungry every night in America. I can look past the fact that he is the first president to force all Americans to buy a corporate product, violating the only law of the land we should cherish. I can look past the fact that he never goes to foreign policy meetings, but I trust him with our foreign policy and the red button.......TB cont.

......I can look past the fact that Obama canceled three raids before the seal team 6 raid, and then took credit right when it would benefit his campaign (plus I heard he actually pulled the trigger right? HE killed Osama!). I can look past the 7 countries (that I know of) that we are still illegally killing innocent people in; still in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, and Pakistan. I can ignore the hypocritical Peace prize Obama got too! Gitmo? What’s that! The cherry on top is that I can look past Benghazi gate………

Most importantly I can look past the fact that the same people who made Obamas campaign possible, are the same people funding Romney.
I’m so smart and politically savvy; I watch CNN and MSNBC so f you.

1) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a
$35,000 a plate campaign fund-raising event.

2) Only in America could people claim that the government still
discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a
black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is black
while only 12% of the population is black.

3) Only in America could they have had the two people most responsible for
their tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury Department and
Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means Committee, BOTH turn out to
be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

4) Only in America can they have terrorists kill people in the name of
Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be
harmed by the backlash.

5) Only in America would they make people who want to legally become
American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of
thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting anyone who
sneaks into the country illegally just ˜magically" become American citizens.

6) Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the budget
and sticking by the country's Constitution be thought of as extremists.

7) Only in America could you need to present a drivers license to cash a
check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

8) Only in America could people demand the government investigate whether
oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when
the return on equity invested in a major U.S. Oil company (Marathon Oil) is
less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the
people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion dollars
more than it has per year for total spending of $7 million PER MINUTE, and
complain that it does not have nearly enough money.

10) Only in America could the most productive people who pay 86% of all
income taxes be accused of not paying their fair share by people who do not
pay any income taxes at all.

"People will forget what you said; People will forget what you did.
But people will never forget how you made them feel."

Since our elections are rigged, participating in them IS throwing away your vote. (...and then the rest of your statement applies)

You're right. It is not useless, because I've seen several grassroots candidates of the Republican party trying their hardest to fight for our liberties. The primaries were very unfortunate and a lot of people are pissed off over the RNC sham. However, looking around, we've got some great people who deserve our votes (and I'm talking more than just the general election).

Personally, I refer to Rep. Justin Amash and Senator Tom Davis of South Carolina when I want to give examples of politicians that are worth a vote.

"Stay home and don't vote".

No thanks OP! A vote for anyone, IS A VOTE FOR SOMEONE!

You can stay home though and play your stupid nintendo games.

idiot is a little strong, gullible is a better word ^^. it doesnt even matter anymore, even if we got everyone to hold hands, walk in and vote exactly the same, the person 'THE THEY" have chosen/bought are going to be the winners. electoral voters will always make sure of that. your vote already isnt worth as much as the next guy when we have lobbyist walking around a with fists full of cash and deep pockets. face it, even if you vote "FOR THE MAN"

YOUR VOTE DOESNT MEAN #$%^

i would like to believe every vote does count, but really they dont. its like how they do law enforcement now, they form a group, blow something up, make a bigger group to find those people blowing things up(the group they set up) and fill a whole bunch of pockets with money breaking the law. voting is the same way now, they put up a bunch of morons, so you think you have a choice, when you pick one, they forget all about you and me, and pass the same laws behind closed doors.(everything obama said he would end or not sign, was signed behind closed doors, or extended, so much for the most transparent administration ever!! hahaha) hope hes not running off of change we need again, R O F L
then con you into thinking you should follow those laws because the man(even if its not yours) made them and should follow them because, "hey what if it was your man!!!!" you would want me to follow those laws wouldnt you? sad thing is, they both would have passed same laws, one would pass in public, the other in private. so you will all get stuck following what they want you to anyhow.

What I find amusing is that everyone complains about rich people paying lesser taxes, poor people have no jobs and zero money, and America is falling in on itself because of a terrible economy. The problem is, no one looks at the source of the problem.

Romney is charismatic, perhaps... maybe, but he is an idiot. He can barely remember his own policies, he flip flops like a goldfish knocked out of its bowl, and frankly, his religion is bat-crap insane. His policies when he was Governor, in my opinion, were horrible for the state, and his support for big business and corporations is frightening at best. Oh. He also has 'binders full of women.'

Obama is more human-oriented, though it seems that he lost his touch at debating and voicing his opinions. He seems to be fighting more for the American people than anyone I've ever seen in my lifetime. He doesn't imply religious beliefs, as the new Republican party seems to be adamant on, and from my lengthy research it seems that many of his policies were denied because of filibustering and the whining of the Congress.

However, I rarely enjoy voicing my opinions, because so many people have their feet dug into the dung of their political parties and Faux News to even begin to formulate their own opinion. I deal with it a lot at work, and frankly it just gets tiring.

If only candidates could stop swashing around and tell the truth, right?

When you reference the "RNC sham" I assume you are speaking to the disenfranchisement of the Paul delegates and the obvious scripting of the procedure and count. Speaker John Boehner read on the teleprompter and was instructed what he was supposed to do, regardless of what was happening on the floor. If this is the sham you are refering to,I would ask how the 2 politicians you cite above, reacted to that sham, how they feel about suporting a party and a system that would allow what happened on the Convention floor? How the system they support was so obviously corrupted, and scripted. How the will of the people were ignored?

Have you written to them to ask how they feel about what hapened?

I'm not trying to put you on the spot, I am only interested in how 2 people you feel are worthy of you're vote feel about the "sham" that you feel strongly about and, how they feel about being part of a party that allows that to take place.

Human oriented? How exactly did you come up with that?
Obama had 2 full years of a Democrat controlled House and Senate in which to pass any legislation he saw fit.
Did he close Gitmo as promised? no.
Did he repeal the Patriot Act as promised? No.
Instead he passed Obamacare, a budget busting economy killing monstrosity that no one had a clue what it said because they couldnt be bothered to read it.
He had four years to accomplish something meaningful and he failed.
You label people as uninformed and Fox news following drones etc but in reality you are nothing more than the exact duplicate on the opposite side of the fence.
Romney succesfully passed a healthcare law in his state that works very well, Obama tried to take over a states right and force it on us as a tax. a tax he promised not to attach to the middle class.
So much for human oriented.
I want a president that will rid us of this 16+ Trillion dollar debt before our kids futures are completely wasted.
Obama had his chance, all he did was spend more than any president in the history of the USA.
AND HE DID IT IN 4 YEARS.
Romney isnt the best answer but hes the better of the two and i dont need any news agency to tell me that.

There is only one way to really change things and make a difference at this point: REVOLT.

We ain't ready for that yet. We're waiting on government sponsored murder of our own citizenry. When they start killing us off en masse, then we know without a shadow of a doubt there are no other choices except rebellion or death.

So threads like this, where someone comes on here to whine about the futility of voting is an utter waste of said poster's time and energy, because we already know it is a waste of time, but alot of folks ain't ready to throw in the towel yet. Building a government from scratch ain't as easy as you might think and in this day and age some other country might just come in where our government is vacant and assume the authority on it's own and then what? Where would we be then with no infrastructure?

Yeah over throw the government and then you'll be hiring the same damned people back to make the new government because none of us regular folk have the technical skills to run a country this big or a country at all.

You are hypocritical enough to accuse obama of not undoing the damage bush and reagan did the last 20 years. When the democrats try they get fillibustered. When they don't try they are traitors.

How can you win in this situation? Easy! Vote some third party and give the two big ones the middle finger. Do you need me to tell you?

I don't want to de rail this thread but I feel it's relevant to the content. Please read my first post, it is all from memory so I apologize if something I said is "off", everything in essence is factual. Now can you vote for either R or D and really look past even a single thing, let alone everything I posted? Honestly if you say "yes" I would l love your educated response on why you still think your opinion matters in reality. Thank you.

Okay, I just wanted to inject a little humor here, people are getting way to worked up.

Thats a picture of a wild cat never before captured on film from the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. I knew what to do...

Listen -- it took more than 4 years to get us where we are, and it's going to take more than 4 years to get us out of this mess.

Americans have such a short attention span it makes me want to scream. I won't, however, and reflect upon that awesome picture of that wild cat and remember to laugh.

We're all taking ourselves to seriously.

The illuminati control the bilderbergers, and the bilderbergers control the elected officials of each country.

The corporate media whores are responsible for controlling what people learn and how educated they are. The heads of the media belong to the bilderbergers who meet in secrecy annually and have gay flirts at bohemian grove. The two party monopoly is espoused in totallity by these demonic folks.

Getting a left wing government in office can make a big difference in the outcome of many struggles. People died fighting against socialism and communism in vain, because they were misinformed. I am not saying we need a communist dictatorship that is oppresive to the rich and poor alike, I am saying we need a common man's government known as democracy. A government that respects everyone for who they are and is not influenced solely by money.

I disagree because I was there in Florida when the race was between Bush and Gore and believe the votes did count. The Electoral College is one of the most misunderstood parts of our electoral process but it was after that incident that I educated myself on it. Myself and many others wished we hadn’t voted for Nader back then but we all thought like so many others here now that our vote didn’t count. I just imagine how things would have been different if we were not so obtuse.
