If suddenly all knowledge, writings, memory, and research for all religions and all science were to disappear; which of the two disciplines would be able to piece together that knowledge quickest?

Would reason, common sense, peer review, observation, evidence and patterns bring science back to its current standing?

Would the complete lack of reason, common sense, peer review, observation, evidence, and patterns bring religion back its thousands of sects, superstition, contradictions and in-fighting?

Which god are we talking about here by the way? There have been thousands.

Religion would be the first, because fear would be the first. Science would be the last, because language takes a longer time to develop than veneration for fire and lightning.
