Before anything, there was One.
Right In the beginning there was one.
Then out of the one came many ones.
Some of these ones became the deluded ones.
They argued with the original ones
as the deluded ones had forgotten their origin,
the One.
The original ones explained about oneness
but the deluded ones said this was not true
and turned away from the original ones.
For some time no more ones came.
The deluded ones decided that there is no original one,
nor did they follow the philosophy of the original ones.
Eventually the deluded ones turned against the original ones.
A war began and as time passed the original ones
where nowhere to be found.
They became the legend of one.
The deluded ones where always taking off each other.
And eventually killing each other.
In the middle ,the one gave birth to
the saviour one.
Most of the deluded ones did not like this one.
But there were a few amongst them
whom this original one awakened
in them a strange feeling,
a recollection of a time when they were all one.
The deluded ones were particularly upset with
what this original one had to say.
Being the deluded ones they had no regrets destroying this one.
None the less his message of oneness
grew and carried on.
Some had decided to leave behind
their brothers the deluded ones.
In order to return to the one.
But the deluded were still
very unhappy about the idea of oneness.
So did their best to make everything
difficult for those who practised oneness.
As time came to its end
many of the original ones returned.
To honour the One's wish
still many deluded ones
couldn’t understand the way
of the original ones.
Finally the saviour was the last one to come.
His power was the complete one.
His voice was heard by everyone.
Listen all he said.
Before time and in time,
there has only ever been one.
The one we are.

Not only do I disbelieve that everything started from nothing, because 0+0=0, but 0+1 will always equal 1. Doesn't this imply that, in the beginning there had to be 2?

I don't know.

What would be the difference if there were 2? 1+1=2.

So now you have 2 ones. Now what? How do they become 3, or 4, and so on?

Either 1 is able to split into more than 1, or all the ones have always been there.

If it is able to split, then 1+0=2 (or more).

This is a topic that boggles my mind, so I would like to hear what you think.

If there were only 1, then there would be only 1. Not a couple of 1's. Then again, life is believed to have come from ONE single cell that was able to split. So, my expert opinion is, I dunno.
