What's so hard to believe that the military or other people in power, have ways to predict/cause disasters? You think they would share it? Is it more logical to believe all these drills were just coincidences or more logical to believe they have secret tech they won't share?

Because I spent a good part of my like in the military and other government agencies and the weather cause trouble for us all the time. I think if we might have used to help us do certain things that we did not because of weather instead of using it to cause a storm that happens to have the same name as one of thousands of hurricane drills from 15 years ago. Considering how many scenerios they drill every single year each with a hurrricane name I would say it would expected that over the course of a decade one might match up. And the the things about drills is you drill for things you expect to happen. That is the entire point of them.

There has been an over simplification of determining the odds of the name being the same. I won't attempt to calculate the odds but I will bring up some significant points with regard to the probability.

First there are two points of coincidence ...

1. The storm name in the drill is the same as this current hurricane.
2. The storm in the drill follows a very similar path to the current hurricane.

So first of all the naming of storms begins in alphabetical order. This season's names are ...

17 named storms had to happen before the name Sandy could be used. This storm wouldn't have been named Sandy if there were any less or more than 17 storms already named. This storm could have been Tony or Rafael if just one more or less storm formed.

This is something to consider. Not only is this storm on the same path as the one in the drill but it happened to fall in just the right count of the hurricanes for the season to be named Sandy.

So there is more to the odds than simply drawing from a pool of names.

I am not inferring that there is anything nefarious afoot I am simply trying to shed more light onto what the odds of the name Sandy being used for both the drill and this current hurricane.

It was a drill based on a REAL Hurricane that happened. If you dig deeper, you will probably find drills that center around a hurricane, Cat 2 or 3, that hits squarely into NYC causing a huge catastrophe and flooding out most of lower Manhattan. It wouldn't be a conspiracy, cause it has happened before- and the way that area is more populated today than it was in 1938- that is why you run the drills and sims to get an idea of what would happen.

Besides, the drill was in from 1997. That's a pretty long time to from drill to event don't you think?

I am amazed at how people are falling for the media hype surrounding this storm. Well guess what people? It is a Cat 1 Hurricane. East Coast Hurricanes are not uncommon. They have happened before and they will happen again. Know what else? The North Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 1 to November 30. So an October hurricane is not unheard of.

I am not sure if people around here and falling for the Media Hype or the Alec Jones hype. Even AJ has jumped on this one, and I had to laugh at him. "With the cold front coming it could produce tornadoes!" yet what AJ doesn't tell you is Tornadoes are common in ANY hurricane, tornadoes can happen at any time of the year and are not exclusive to the spring time, and yes.. even the East Coast has had tornadoes before.

I'm sorry people... this is just another storm. No Haarp, no massive conspiracy, it's just another storm. You will see high winds and massive amounts of rainfall. You will see flooding in many areas, much like you did during Hurricane Irene. You will probably see power outages- like you do in any hurricane in any part of this Country. It's all par for the course.

I can't believe I'm the first one posting this; Major Ed Dames remote viewed (along with a crew of other remote viewers) the East Coast of the U.S. for spring 2013 and saw the Supreme Court Building in Washington in ruins and with obvious high water and algae marks. While he's been wrong plenty, this particular prediction had him plenty freaked out and he's stood by it.

The little "story" of so and so's moms daughters husbands former roommate who works at Ft Mac.
Ft. Mac closed in September of 2011.

I would not put much stock in 4th and 5th hand accounts. If a basic detail such as what base the person is stationed is not correct then you cant count on the main jist of the info to be correct either. The devil is in the details.

Starred and FLAGGED!!! Nobody is crying in outrage or FEAR?!?!?!?! I knew nothing of the drill... AND STILL i came to this conclusion. This conclusion came to me as hard as any other epiphany I have had in my life.

-The New Yorkers there are locked in. They CANNOT leave and centers with 'help' are there and already setting up
-There talking about setting up "centers" in NYC.
-On the news they justified windows being blown out.
-And when have you EVER known them shutting down such an large region with road blocks to Pennsylvania!!!!! -------- Recently the cable just went off for a moment in the 'deciding state', could that be to final test the national emergency system that was introduced last year or so? Listen how the media is advising the citizens to "embrace" their 'help' that is going 'provided' to them. How the 'elderly' need THIS protection! THEY SHUT DOWN NYSE... come on!!!!! boots could be deployed to ALL major us cities within hours...

Why would THIS need to be a distraction for some other false flag. This is the October Surprise as was stated on an MSNBC show yesterday.

There are a lot of agendas being served. Yet, I get the sense that a lot of people are "Sandy'ed" out already and in another day or two, threads will dwindle to maybe one or so.

Speaking of which, I think even the name is a meme. Whenever they show the 'damage' to NJ beaches, what they are showing is sand far inland. Too far inland for it to be driven there naturally, no matter what tide surge.
I saw Al Roker standing on what he said was a pool at some 50's looking era motor court style motel.
It was completely filled with SAND. Why? How would a pool be filled with only sand and NO SEAWATER.
It looked like it was being covered by sand intentionally as the building next to it had NO sand piled up beside it.
None of the buildings did.

So, I went hmmm. I started looking into the land along the beach from Point Pleasant down to Cape May.
Cape May I should mention, as well as Atlantic City have conflicting reports of damage done.

Two reporters said they escaped nearly unscathed! Why would a storm be so selective as to wash away a Boardwalk and cause damage and then where the high priced casinos and resorts have NO DAMAGE.

Anyway, in looking at real estate in the area, for a town of 5,000 people, there was a disproportionate amount for sale and under forclosure already.

And to have my most elaborate tin foil hat atop my head, I would say this has been in the planning for quite some time. I think Jersey Shore TV show was a meme in itself.
Who would have cared about this area nearly as much had this show not been a dubious MTV hit?
I noted today how much the reporters mentioned oh you may have seen this on the Jersey Shore reality tv show.
