What does that post have to do with Lt. Col. Doug? Whether you're blinded by the Right/Left views or not the fact remains Washington DC did not aid the consulate at all that night.

Don't worry, Bush and his 8 regime was just as bad as Obama's 4 year regime, & no matter who wins this November America,& the world, clearly lose again.

I am sure that they are now not the latest and greatest and I do believe have been phased out.
But, the idea remains the same and the process is basically the same as well.
I loved working on them and doing the Crypto Comm stuff. Very fun.

There's a big difference. Throughout this thread you have been asserting that you have special knowledge and experience, and claiming that this "verifies" Col. Doug's claims. We're just supposed to take your word for it. No thanks; the word of some pseudonymous internet commenter is not worth a hill of beans. If you want people to respect your opinion based on experience, it needs to be verifiable, or it counts squat.

Grimpachi only brought up his millitary background when YOU ASKED. And he never asked anyone to take his word for anything.

When you work in the intelligence field you do have access to special knowledge, that's just how it works. My rate, job, in the USN was working directly with message traffic so I know exactly what the Lt. Col is talking about and I've also been saying the same thing right here on ATS, as seen in my first post in this thread. So Doug is just re enforcing what I've been saying all along, and anyone else who understands how message traffic works.

I've even posted my rates job description to help folks like you understand why I've been so vocal against you all. None of you have any clue how message traffic works and its delivery system, I do, & I'm trying to explain to you all how it works but yet you won't listen cuz you all are hell bent on not believing any of it for whatever silly reason. It's getting to the point where I'm going to post an censored pic of my DD 214 which confirms my rate, job, CTO, but even the I imagine it won't be good enough. So believe whatever you want, you're definitely on the side of ignorance I can tell you that.

Your second argument is that we should believe this story because "many other sources say the same". Presumably these sources are verifiable? In that case we should be discussing those sources, and not the unverifiable claims of Col. Doug. If none of the sources making these claims are verifiable, they're all worthless, probably just quoting each other.

I get the skepticism, I really do & it is what makes the ATS world go round but unless you're calling me a flat out liar what is it that you don't believe and why don't you believe it? No they have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with what went down in Benghazi. They will in no way provide you with a clearer picture of the events and the sequence of events. Also forget about learning anything about who does what behind the scenes, their names etc.

FLASH is a priority yes, the top priority, as in you stop whatever it is you're doing and give this message your complete attention. That is the only way to deal with a FLASH message, doesn't matter what part of the world you receive it in that is the protocol.

Have you heard of a place called the Situation Room? It has computers that are connected to the DOD classified networks. These computers are most definitely manned by a watch team who monitor and send message traffic. But lets go off into fantasy land where the Situation Room doesn't exist and for some stupid reason the White House isn't connected to the DOD networks, there are still plenty of other places in Washington DC that are connected, like the Pentagon just to name one.

And just to point out, the FLASH message that went out would most likely never have been downgraded to an IMMEDIATE priority. Attack on a US Ambassador by terrorists does not get downgraded

So the bottom line is, when word got out there was an attack at the Benghazi compound a message went out and Washington DC was fully aware of it.

Washington DC is not a situation room - it is a city - the bottom line is you have no evidence whatsoever where the message went other than to the CIA - is is pure presumption that it made it to the Oval office immediately

You don't think POTUS, the White House, or DC knew the attack was going down in real time? That they gave no order to stand down?

I see no evidence the the POTUS gave any such order or was aware of the attack in real time. as for "DC" - what is "DC" - where in the chain of command is this "DC" entity"??

SOMEONE in teh chain of comamnd gave ordders, SOMEONE knew what was happening in real time (more or less) - perhaps you should find some actual evidence WHO, rather than leaping to assumptions that you cannot support.

Ms. Lamb from the DoS testifies that she was watching in real time. What more evidence do you need? If you can't be bothered to read what is here and do a bit of your own research you really shouldn't spout off uneducated opinions.

Editing to add that DC is where the CIC (read Obama) lives.
