I'm not a soup everyday guy but there are times that you just want soup. Probably reminds us of better times when Mom(or Dad) had the time to cook.
Those days are long gone, on a daily basis. So, I'm talking about soup that one buys. Let's face it, if one is a half decent cook ANY homemade soup
is better than what you can buy. Oh, and no "stews". Stew isn't soup.
Later on I'll give you some suggestions for sandwiches to go with a given soup, that's the difference between soup and stew. You don't need/want a
sandwich with stew. For now though we'll just look at the soups.
Beef and Barley.
French Canadian Pea.
Chicken noodle(or rice). That's a duh.
Hmm, does chowder count?
