Not even sure it went into the volcanoe ,mave have gone down in t5he national park behinfd it, .whatever it was it seems to be producing a shock wave in front and around the object,Thats assuming it wasnt just a timelapse meteor or Human flying vehicle.

I think the recording comes directly from the news channel. Can anyone confirm this?

If this is true the chances of it being a fake are greatly reduced.

A strange, large cylinder shaped object filmed flying into Mexico's erupting Popocatépetl volcano is eerily similar to an object witnessed by thousands of people in Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia this past week.

The mystery object was caught by a network television camera installed to monitor the potentially dangerous volcano, which has experienced increased seismic activity over the past year.

A strange, bright, cylinder-shaped object can be seen entering the camera's view before apparently falling into the volcano's enormous crater as it exhales a cloud of ash. The object has been estimated to be at least one kilometer in length and approximately 200 meters wide.

Astronomers have examined the footage taken from both Kentucky and Mexico and so far are perplexed about exactly what the objects could possibly be...

Here is some footage of the cylindrical shaped UFO taken in Maine on the 21st October.

Very similar to the one sighted in Kentucky and now in Mexico.

could be a meteroite. more and more cameras in the world = probability of such rare events rises.

If that's a meteor then meteors have had the most amazing aim into volcanoes for years now!

Not sure what it is but quite sure it isn't a meteor.

Hydrawolf, very interesting vid and thanks for posting it
- below are some other UFO images taken over Mt. Popocatepetl and there's also quite a freaky pilot radar/visual case in which three 'disc shaped' objects merged into one on the radar screen and sped away towards the volcano.

Thanks.

It is definitely a UFO hot spot by the looks of things.

ok, but the object could be kilometers behind or in front of the volcano and only seem to "dive" right into it.

It happened after a short eruption, so it may just be a rock falling back. Hard to tell, because there's no timer on the video to be able to tell how long that happened after the volcano "belched".

Where exactly is this craft going when it flies into the volcano?

It's not hollow, it's just a big crater.

Suicidal aliens?

The astronomer who is interviewed said it was probably a meteor. If so, it probably passed behind the volcano and only *appears* to go inside.

Still, it's a good video so thanks for posting the thread.

No probs

If it is a meteor, is it very common for meteors of that size (approx 200m wide and 1000m long) to hit our planet?

Now this video proves that these ETs are colonizing earth's core too

Volcanic eruption sites are its entrance point

It's not possible to judge the diameter of the object from that footage.

The 'length' isn't really the length, it's a combination of motion blur, brightness and frame-rate of the camera.

We do see a lot of large fireballs and bolides in the atmosphere but they rarely get to hit land and break up in the air. *If* this was one of them, its flight path crossed the volcano and it might then have broken up. They're so brief that most will go unseen and most people will never see one in their lives. That includes me as I'd love to see a bolide meteor!

Thanks.

I am going to sit on the fence for now as to what i think the object may be.

Meteor is a very likely scenario, but I am still not convinced.

I will stick to calling it UFO for now, but as you said, meteor is a probable explanation for the object.

That's the most sensible position to take for now.

Too often people mistake *most probable* for *identified.*

Any translators in the house?

I am keen to know what is being said in the video.

0:27 "And there it is, something that falls into the crater. I didn't presented this yesterday until now because we contacted specialists to give us some explanation"

0:38 "This are images captured from Televisa Cameras located in the mount of somoni close to the Popocapete volcano, according to specialists it's about an object of approximately 1 km long by 200 meters wide. Can't really tell where it's coming from but it had a speed faster than a plane appearing to go inside the crater"

1:22 "An interesting thing in all this is that it's falling, it would be more spectacular if it was going up instead. When something falls, there are more natural causes determining that than if it was climbing up.

1:43 Reporter "the specialist ruled out that it was not a material spewed out from the volcano on it's way down, since it does not show a path of light from the fallen object" (I think they mean more like a trail of light as in a meteor)

The specialist goes on to say that there's no sound emitting from the possible "strike" in the mouth of the crater as it goes in, there's no glowing light of a possible explosion or anything of any kind. She also believes that it could also be a video pixel anomaly due to the saturation of pixel. She also assumes that it is not part of the original video as a result of the above mentioned in this paragraph.

Oh its cgi, no its not its php, oh no its not its asp.

Yes a percentage of stuff on the net is CGI, but at least have the brains to debunk it as CGI before calling it.
