In watching the documentary "Exposure: The Other Side of Jimmy Savile" it is mentioned that these rumors have existed for years and a clip of Savile being interviewed for another program about the claims/rumors that he is a pedophile.

I think numerous people tried to raise the issue but were told to 'go away' by BBC bosses and also they were not likely to be believed, let alone win a court case against a millionaire.

His friends in the masons, police, celebs and execs alike all covered for him and his gang,

He would never have gotten away with that now-days. And that's a GOOD thing.

I'm ashamed by the number people defending this perverts actions or thinks he did nothing wrong.

There is no way on earth this wouldn't have run if they'd been approached with it.

We're talking about people like Kelvin MacKenzie here... are you telling me the editor of the Sun - who made up lies about the events at Hillsborough - wouldn't have run a story about Saville being a pervert? MacKenzie would have sold his grandmother to Saville in order to get a scoop on it.

All of the celeb scoops in the papers, all the outings, the hit pieces, the whole lot - the British gutter press is famous for it and yet Saville missed it all?

I agree. It seems that the culture of the 60's & 70's saw the awe-struck females
that attempted to rub shoulders with so-called 'Radio D.J stars' putting themselves
in difficult situations.
The late Jimmy Savile enjoyed a time when the BBC Management turned a blind-eye
to their TV celebrities antics and now it should be time to pay the piper.
I believe that other well-known folk -alive and dead, will surface... even ex-Prime Ministers!!

She did not want his advances. It was sexual harrasment for that reason.

Plus keep in mind that when she complained she was told to just walk away.

I know that if you go into a night club that sometimes woman/men will absent-mindedly touch each other. Sometimes they're half drunk too. But that's a totally different environment.

It's just messed up. Just from this video alone I wouldn't call him a pedophile, but he's deffinitely a philanderer and a guy that wears his sexual domination of others like peacock feathers. I guy like that eventually slips up with the wrong woman and is called out for his abuses of other's rights.

You're quite right. It WAS the SUN who revealed that Savile had visited the notorious Jersey care home. Although I can't help feeling that other tabloids either ignored the abuse or were told to hold back.

The REAL question (I believe) is who was protecting whom? Let's not forget he was knighted, he was a millionaire and he had gangster friends, friends in the masons and friends in many areas of the press, media etc.

These rumours of Savile being a monster were around when I was a youngster, so there's no way that the tabloids would not have heard about him, so what gives?

Why didn't anyone in the media challenge him?

Years ago when the 'few' first came forward and complained they weren't believed, and they

were punished for saying such awful things about such a 'sainted' man who only ever did

good. Why weren't they believed?? They were just lowly girls from disadvantaged

backgrounds and broken homes etc. and He was this famous DJ and entainer who raised

millions for charity so why would they be believed??


Infact i believe i read somewhere he actually told one of his 'victims' that he was 'King

Jimmy' and no one would beleive them.


When i was young i was brought up on the theory that "Children should be seen and not

heard" So when i had my own children from when they could understand they were told

'They too had a voice and what ever they had to say was every bit as important as any

adult and they needed to speak up and be heard'

It's funny... recently we had a family gathering...and were kinda a funny bunch that can talk pretty openly....anyways the subject came up of how to deal with your teenage daughters becoming "sexy"...lol...we're Irish, and we have beautiful kids.......and we Love to tell them that !

Seriously though, I was really facinated to hear how some men in my family saw this, and these are good men that would die for the woman and kids in thier lives, and NEVER hurt kids...but they definately had some conflict of interest in thier hearts to some to degree about "admiring" the beauty of young girls, and apparently sleep overs with with thier teenage daughter's and friends...made them a nervous wreck if the girls were running around in nighties, panties and T-shirts...totally unaware how uncomfortable it made the Dads.

The point is, sure teenage girls are sexy, but a decent man resolves those feelings.......many elites think they can have what EVER they want...the forbiddin fruit so to speak.....normal men that love thier kids....say "Will you girls please put on some clothes"....or in the case of my cousin....who made me laugh soo hard.... "PUT ON some Goddammed clothes ! "

The reporter notices Jimmy has the reporters address on a pad - he seems astounded that he has this information - Jimmy says he "can get anything" and he says he has the man's address to be sure "he is real" and that if he suspected anything strange he could send the mob over there - all "joking", of course

The reporter finds that Jimmy doesn't trust him and is deflecting his questions

Jimmy claims to be a wrestler, and then jokes that he's "feared in every girl's school in the UK"

The reporter asks why Jimmy has no wife or children - Jimmy says women cause brain damage

He shares how he used to tie people up back in the 50's when he ran a dance house - he'd tie up and troublemakers and put them in the basement until 2am - the law was never happy with him - says he was "heavy handed" with "zero tolerance" and didn't put up with any nonsense

He lived with his mother all his life - the last 16 years had been in his flat in Scarborough - he was never allowed to have women around, he didn't want to have sex with women, couldn't stand to be with one for more than 2 hours (the brain damage comment comes up again) - the reporter finds an album of photos, some of them showing Jimmy with a woman, but Jimmy says he's never had a "girlfriend", only friends who are girls.

The reporter asks him about why he says to the press that he doesn't like children, when he obviously does - Jimmy replies that he does it to keep them from investigating or reporting that he's a paedophile - wow.

To me, he seems really eccentric, guarded, sharp, controlling, calculating, and definitely not normal, but you'd have to watch the whole vid to get your own assessment. He does have quite a mother fixation, too.

The show was called just like mom it was a Canadian game show. The guys name is Fergie Olver.and his wife Catherine Swing also had did hosting on the show.

I think one of the main reasons why the press never reported on it is because they were threatened that if they did, Savile would withdraw all of his charity funding. Throughout the years he donated and raised millions of pounds for various hospitals and charities. In retrospect it would seem he did this as cover. To show he was a "good" man and thus no one would believe such allegations. This also allowed him a lot of contact with children and young teenagers in private settings.

I am sure the employees of these hospitals must have known or at least suspected something was going on, but brushed it aside because of all the money Savile raised for them. Also a lot of the young ladies he targeted were girls with emotional problems in care homes and hospitals. Vunerable children, that no one would believe, or chose not to hear.

It may not be out of the question that maybe some of the higher-ups at various tabloids were somehow involved, or could be also be tied to the allegations, hence the lack of reports, and lets not forget his ties to royalty and Thatcher etc.

I think Savile was a master at deception and manipulation.

I think the most disturbing thing about all of this is that absolutely no one I've spoken to about it is surprised, yet it went on for so long.

Some 14 years or so ago i would socialise with friends and aquiantences some of

who were connected with local radio/TV and a couple of them told me that the biggest

'can of worms' would be opened when Jimmy Saville died. I could not get any more out

of them than that...How right they were

The best example I can give here is Michael Barrymore. The British press ruined him, literally.
