I've had to author an apology thread or two so I admire your courage

It is very rare for people to find the courage to apologize and or admit they were wrong on ATS so your effort has been noticed.

Cheers!

You don't need to apologize unless you were a real jerk.

In my encounters with you on the boards I can't remember an instance where I thought you were being out of line.

That said, you will NEVER be able to avoid offending people on ATS. This is one of the most thin skinned and sensitive communities I've ever encountered.

If you don't tow the line around here people will call you all kinds of names.

It takes courage to apologize, kdog.

I have read many of your posts, and I haven't seen the characteristics you spoke of. However, you did and took the steps to be true to yourself.

i haven't got many stars or flags.
maybe i should make an apology thread, or even an 'i'm leaving!!!' thread.

as for people saying welldone it takes courage to admit your wrong and say sorry, yes in real life thats true,
on an internet forum , no i dont think it's quite the same.

It depends on how close you feel to any "community".

It isn't really about the bling,it's about respect,it's about getting the chance to go head to head with like minded people.
Sharing the knowledge that is gained through this endeavor.

Thank you.
