I do not believe in Niburu so I need to make that clear. -

I was talking to an old earth hippy yesterday and he said a new planet will be revealed during the total solar eclipse on the morning of the 14th November, in just over 2 weeks

He said that during totality a second sun will be visible and it is going to change the world in the way we know it to be. It was a little bit of a freaky experience to say the least for me because he was so passionate about what he thought was real.

He lives in a place called Kuranda in Australia and apparantly he says Nasa have booked his hillside property to video and study the event.

So anyway that is my story and I just wanted to share it with you.

Thank you

Well I guess in over 2 weeks time someone is gonna feel very stupid, be it him or the people that denied and argued for countless hours about Niburu's existence. I'll be on the sidelines watching.

Well there is going to be an eclipse:

en.wikipedia.org...

Thanks for the information, as I am not sure to many people are aware of it.

For some reason I can't copy and paste a snippet from this article, but it does say there will be a two minute window of complete totality in the Cairns region of Austrailia.....

As for seeing a second sun? Hmmmm. Not to sure about that one, but I sure would like to be there just to experience a total eclipse.

I will personally send Nancy Leider a letter of apology if anything remotely resembling a second sun/Nibiru is witnessed during this event.

I feel pretty confident about not having to do that though.

At least we don't have to wait two more months for this one

What is it about this Nibru thing that hooks so many people?

I really don't get people's fascination with this subject...anyone?

People get major stiffies for doom.

Plus you can just claim your calculations are wrong if it doesn't happen when you say it's supposed to happen (see Nancy Leider in '03).

Really is the most frustrating pile of fear mongering out there. We'll never get rid of this horse#, I'm afraid.

i'm firmly on the fence regarding nibiru and suchlike. but it would be extremely cool to see something like that. as long as it wasn't going to destroy us.

Different horses for different courses.

I don't have any interest in American politics, but it's always a hot topic on here.

I admit I was very skeptical of your buddy's story until I read this part

He lives in a place called Kuranda in Australia and apparantly he says Nasa have booked his hillside property to video and study the event.

then I was positive he's full of #.

I think there are a lot of old science fiction masterpieces recycled into these "theories" and am fascinated how some elements out of these old-school scifi stories find their way into the realm of on-line interactivity. It's fun to trace some key elements back to their possible origin and I "blame" Asimov for this one. (Super-Neutron, Nightfall and Nemesis.)

Niburu is here to stay untill ehrm... waywayway into the future. It's like the new Hansel und Gretchen. In a while it will be replaced by a new doomgloom magicshow, but once in a while Niburu will peekaboo cause you know, the new generation of niburies/debunkers will have a go at it.

I keep coming back to these threads, hoping to find more clues. What is your fascination?

I'd guess it is. OP made it out as if NASA officially "booked" the hillside. Out of 1,000 people attending, 45 are expected from NASA.

I thought it was Zecharia Sitchin that started talking about Nibiru.

Did he do so before 1941?
