If he wasn't drunk (or on drugs) nothing would have happened.

I never saw problems like these with people who were not breaking any laws.

Actually the guy that did the shooting wasn't a cop he was campus security.

Why do cops act like they don't live in their own country? All across the world cops and the army are just hurting people to do it-that is all. The people they murder are their neighbors, friends, and family. This is beyond insane there are too many of these cases happening now.

You know, you may have hit on a big part of the problem right there and may not have even meant to!

We have at LEAST 50 different ways a Cop is trained and certified by 50 different standards of POST (Police Officer Standards and Training) standards. One to a state, generally. Then, inside the states we have countless upon countless more College cops, private cops, mall cops, Hospital cops, airport cops....and on and on and on. All trained THEIR own ways based on whatever their agency or dept thought best. Federal opens a whole NEW can of nightmare for the topic.

Perhaps..strictly for the purposes of training (Never combining agencies AFTER training...not going there) it would be a good idea to have a few National law enforcement training centers that *EVERY* man and woman who will wear a badge, have authority and carry the means to kill others go through. Add training later, as each agency wants...but everyone gets the SAME basic training and SAME basic procedures.

Then..if training is the problem, it doesn't take fixes in hundreds of entrenched training departments and training programs to see a change made at the street level with new cops coming out.
