You can hate on Alex Jones all you want, and I expect in any and all threads that include him, but this isn't about Alex Jones running his mouth but a National Guardsmen blowing a whistle on a recent briefing he had about preparing for civil unrest and more.

You mean some anonymous guy claiming to be someone important according to Alex.

When you blow your credibility..repeatedly...that also means your "word" is less than any other random guy out there...less because you already proved either you will say anything for ratings, or have no filter for information coming through.

Hell, he probably gets most of his information from ATS here and the nutjobs that think up anything to create a thread.

I am not a gun owner...but yell ya what..if the gub-ment comes out and starts taking everyone guns, I will speak up...until then, I see this fear porn as little more than a marketing campaign to get the perpetually paranoid to buy more guns...and its a brilliant campaign considering there are soo many gullible people.

The National Guard has been misused and abused.
Many mislead by recruiters...and more so by 'superiors'.
Its disgraceful to the armed services when their 'leaders' are doing the misleading misdeeds...
...though, its the good deeds of the good one who choose to stand for what we know is right - what was truly signed up for - as the oath intends, to defend the America & its People~

Ever listen to the background music that is played when AJ talks about imminent plans to kill Americans? It sounds more like entertainment to me. He is very animated in every action as if he took acting lessons.

But.................

As others pointed out, he may very well have stopped the machine by barking loudly about the so called plans against us.

I'm not a gun owner. But I do have several months of 25 year storageable food for 2 people and 3 dogs. LOL I'm certain I'll end up eating it in ten years going on camping trips. Guess I fell a little for the conspiracies.

It does seem like the ptb are trying to turn us into a third world country. Just today, I read ANOTHER manufcturer loss...an article on Jeep. They are considering moving operations to China. We are toast with no manufacturing.

I really hate getting that paranoid feeling when reading or hearing about conspiracy. It kinda knaws at the back of your mind to think people of power can't think of peaceable means to drop the population to save our world. They would rather sadistically maime, torture, then murder. Humans are frightening creatures.

Whenever I see an unidentified source combined with Infowars, I have to take whatever is said with a grain of salt.

My questions
What is a doomsday prepper?
How are they identified?
Why would they be singled out?

Dot those of you attacking AJ, may I remind you the National Guard did confiscate weapons during Katrina. And how about the recent training excercises in St. Louis on American City streets. What about the National Guard patrolling a suburban neighborhood in Michigan?

How about the countless reports of DHS and others buying up large amounts of ammo?
What about Obama "Ak's do not belong in our city streets, they belong in the battlefield" after he signed the NDAA which declares that America IS a battlefield?

Are the PTB afraid of something? Your damn right they are. Our military doesn't issue AK's either so that only leaves one guess as to who that comment was pertaining to.

Forget about Alex Jones; forget about the National Guard whistleblower; anyone who has been keeping track of society this year and all the civil unrest that has already happened; most likely knows there is going to be more of it.

We should all be prepared to hold up in our homes; to me it is just common sense.

You know the flip side of this:

Of course the national guard preps for civil unrest, it's one of their primary roles. It's not that they do it, it's how are they going to do it, when and why?

I can think of many situations where I WANT the NG stopping the riots, etc.........

When i saw inforwars stamped on it i was just waiting for all the twits to chime in about AJ.

HOw many people have predicted things that doe not occur?? it happens on a regular basis here and there have been predictions by others on different current events. THink of the gulf spill and fukashima. Some fringe people say it is catastrophic while the mainstream says it is okay. Yet those people are treated with less ire than jones.

you guys are turds. No one disputes AJs push for revenue but have you people ever learned to leave teh bad and take the good or are you too stupid to learn that?

OP never bother posting anything associated with aj you will get too many idiots who will just make it about aj and they point of your story will be lost.

The NWO needs units that will operate against American citizens. The OP is evidence of a sorting process like the 29 Palms Survey given to Armed Forces personel in 1994

Part II. Attitude.

[Strongly Disagree] [Disagree] [Agree] [Strongly Agree] [No Opinion]

Do you feel that U.S. combat troops should be used within the U.S. and bordering countries for any of the following missions?

8. Drug enforcement [SD D A SA NO]

12. Substitute teachers and school workers in public schools [SD D A SA NO]

15. National emergency police force/international security force [SD D A SA NO]

21. Peace keeping and local law enforcement and internal security forces [SD D A SA NO]

This next part is the reason that The 29 Palms Survey was on talk radio for years back in the 1990's

45. I would swear to the following oath: [SD D A SA NO]

"I am a United Nations fighting person. I serve in the forces which maintain world peace and every nation's way of life. I swear and affirm to support and defend the Charter of the United Nations and I am prepared to give my life in its defense."

46. The U.S. government declares a ban on the possession, sale, transportation, and transfer of all non-approved firearms. A 30-day amnesty period is established for these firearms to be turned over to the local authorities. At the end of this period, a number of irregular citizen groups and defiant individuals refuse to turn over their firearms to authority. Consider the following statement: [SD D A SA NO]

"I would fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the United States government."

Something like 15% said yes, they would fire on resistors.

To me a survey of 300 Marines isn't much of a sampling. People make it sound like the survey went out to the entire Marine Corps.

LCDR Cunningham did it as part of his Masters program at the Naval Postgraduate School.

Like I said before, the local Army/Airforce base is running a huge exercise all week here. They are training for domestic riots/unrest

It's all being kept pretty hush-hush.

I understand the hesitancy of trusting a source from Alex Jones, however here in Colorado like the above poster says about his area, the local Army (Ft. Carson) and AFB (Buckley) have been conducting massive exercises for the past several weeks.

A friend of mine is in the Army MP reserve and is also a CO state sherrif. He has said numerous times the reason he was traveling to Denver was for drills revolving around martial law and civil unrest around election time.

I agree with AJ as an untrustworthy source, but my source and Soldier X have the exact same story, and the exercises around Denver are visual proof of his/their claims at least to me.

God Bless,

I don't hink that "preppers" are going to be "treated as terrorists. Why?

1. It is part of Mormon doctrine that they have 1 year of food stored. There are Mormon canneries all over the country, open to anyone, Mormon or not. One of their... sayings, scriptures or whatever is "Ye who are prepared shall not fear". So, they have to treat as a terrorist nearly every Morman, and actually the Morman Church itself, I would think, since it's their doctrine.

2. Romney is a Mormon.

So, does that mean that in addition to all the Mormons and other preppers, they will be treating Romney as a terrorist? I highly doubt it. Especially if he's the next president.

Have you listened to the interview today or did you just read the article before posting?

I'm listening right now. Firstly, I don't believe a word coming out his mouth. He proclaims he got this briefing two weeks ago and he's on duty? The guard doesn't stay "on duty" unless they are on deployment. They are weekend warriors.

Not true at all. We have Active Duty NG right by Fort Lewis (Joint Base McChord-Lewis, whatever). The base is called Camp Murray and they are all Active Duty Guard or DoD contractors.

Just keeping the facts straight.

So we have no way of knowing that any of this is true.
There was a group that has harped about a faction of the military taking the country back. Didn't happen.
There was a group that said there was gonna be a (insert doomsday device here) false flag in 2008, 09, 10, 11, and 12. Hasn't happened.
Then there was the group that said friendly aliens would arrive and we would all sing Kumbaya and skip along with locked arms into the sunset.

Alex Jones is a COMMERCIAL RADIO HOST, who makes his living off of advertising and how POPULAR his show is. What you notice every once in a while is that when his show's ratings drop, something like this surfaces to take advantage of the fears of everyday people. When this happens, the story is linked everywhere.
Every time someone hits that link and doesn't have a program like AdBlockerPlus installed, his site, and by extension his waller, gets a little bit of money because you have viewed his site which holds ads.

We have NO WAY to verify if that's a real National Guardsman, but we just have to "take his word for it". I don't care if he knows all the "military lingo" and seems legit, because all it takes is an afternoon in the military history section of the library to learn the proper terminology.

The only thing you can count on is that if ever the military were deployed in our country against a so-called "civilian threat", that at least 20 percent of all branches would desert or rebel in the first weeks of that campaign.
We are military made of VOLUNTEERS and CAREERISTS. Volunteers will be the first to realize something is wrong. These are the guys who signed up to cash a paycheck for their families, and live a double life as a civilian soldier. The ones that will fight civilians to the death are the careerists and ladder climbers.

Chill out and stop worrying about stuff like this.
Go for a walk, ride a bike. Go on a hike, go out to lunch with your mom/dad/kids/friends/husband/wife/significant other. Paint/sculpt/create. Pay your bills, mow the lawn. Enjoy your life instead of living under this constant looming cloud of an event that probably will not happen. And if it does, it won't be nearly as bad as you think.

Seriously, guys. You've been given life for a reason. It's your own. Live it, and be free.

The 29 Palms Survey publicity happened in conjunction with the Michael New court-martial so it got alot of air time.

When assigned as part of a multi-national peacekeeping mission about to be deployed to Macedonia, Spec-4 New and the other soldiers in his unit were ordered to wear United Nations (U.N.) Helmets and arm bands. New refused the order, contending that it was an illegal order. New's superiors disagreed. Ultimately, so did the court-martial panel. New was found guilty of disobeying a lawful order and sentenced to a bad conduct discharge.
To Obey or Not to Obey

I don't know how often the survey was used.

Did LCDR Cunningham use the statistics from it or was his thesis about something other than what a soldier would do?

John Titor called all this.

Whether you like to believe he is a time traveler or not. Calling all this in the year 2000, Saying he fought in the civil war. Really makes you wonder.

Whether or not you believe any of this.

The laws are changing.... And we're allowing it.

Good point. But your point is the problem. I am a terrorist because I "prepare" for disasters, natural or man made?
I am a terrorist because I own a few guns. Yes only a few, which is a stockpile to some of the more liberal minded. I am a terrorist because I hunt for food sometimes? Or is it because I believe in the constitution and don't like the direction my country is going?
Probably all of the above. Even though I am not part of a group or any militia or organization. So maybe I am one of those "lone wolf" terrorists.
It is truly pathetic the direction this once free country is going. I do believe your point. And I am certain many in the army or guard will in fact see it that way when things unravel. However, I am still me. And I intend to be free until the day I die. Or the day they kill me trying to take what is rightfully, and lawfully mine...

Not defending the OP or the source, I have confirmed through my military contacts including family members on active service (MP's) that they have received special training regarding the handling of U.S Citizens on our soil in the event of widespread civil unrest. I have been trying to get copies of the manuals and training literature however it is collected after each class.

The training statements are true, the purpose is undefined. I have a hard time swallowing that any US Armed forces member would stand against their neighbors. Although the ramifications of this election which Obama will lose, his departure will not be graceful. Could cause and most certainly will cause chaos, how long it lasts or it's intensity is yet to be seen.

Almost word for word what my scource in Colorado said as well.

God Bless,

Oh god. My sides. I can't, I just can't

"you guys are turds"

I think what you need to understand is that most of the people here have been in and out of the Alex Jones ring a few times. For a lot of us he was our gateway into the world of conspiracies, kind of like training wheels for our bicycles. As you grow up and become more intelligent you see that his claims are RIDICULOUS and there are holes in his story EVERYWHERE. He intentionally deceives viewers during his documentaries and this is fact. He does have balls though, I respect him for breaking into Bohemian Grove, that is a great video to watch.

Anyways,no harm no foul, but AJ's views are great fun to believe and imagine - a GRAND CONSPIRACY of sorts. I do believe in a shadow government, but not to the degree which he describes, that is just ridiculous.

He predicted a civil war for 2005. How can you possibly claim he called all this? The US will never have a civil war while semi-decent living standards exists for the majority - it's only until they move to extreme poverty or the entertainment is switched off.. THEN the majority will rise against the machine, but by then it'll be too late (in my opinion)
