what would be the difference if martial law was enacted?

would you be able to drink beers in parks,

travel between states without being stopped,

purchase things one state does not allow and then take them home

be in a very public place in mass without hassle

what would be different?

that you "might" be put in some cam..

worry about the camps when they get here,
until then you are doing the same life.

You have a lot to learn if you're gonna survive this site newbie. The "camps" are bogus. Martial Law is not going to be pretty. Ummm, no, you won't be traveling all humpy dumpy, you'll be at home, not allowed to go anywhere. They'll be strict curfews, and everything you do will be questioned. It won't be a walk in the park or a drunk feast as you imply.

The camps certainly are not bogus.

Not that it is impossible, I guess. I just don't see the people going along with marshall law, nor do I see our military or law enforcement being used against us. Perhaps I will stock up on ammo just in case.

Sure they are...it's all fear mongering. Prove to me these "camps" exist for their purposes. The reality is you can't. You cannot prove these "camps" are going to be used for what others claim they will be used for. You think they're going to round us up and put us in furnaces such as they did the Jews in Auschwitz?

There are for one example, camps that were used during WWII.
The socialist party also wants to abolish the US interstate system and move towards a national rail system. Now why would they want to do that?

Is that your answer? All you have to say is that they had camps in WW2? Of course they had camps in WW2, but as far as internment camps in the U.S., has there been proof that these camps are actually being used for what derailed individuals are claiming they're being used for? The answer is No, no they are not. Your second point can be explained very easily. There is a push to eventually get away from costly interstate systems and move on to more economical rail systems. Do you know how many semi loads of product can be moved via rail? One train can carry over 400 semi loads of good at a fraction 1/25 the cost. Same with travelers, how many people can ride a train versus drive a car. Use the figure 100 people...at least 25 cars right? 4 people per car? Then 100 people can ride on 1 train correct? So fill the tanks of 25 cars? Now how much diesel on the train? There's your answer.

NDAA allows any one deemed as an enemy combatant can be held without trial. Have they acted on it yet? Not to my knowledge.

By creating a national rail system, they will effectively restrict your right to travel.

Errr...

I hope you realize that 16.8 LD is over 4 million miles. The asteroid is only 1.5 km across. It will have zero gravitational effect at that distance....none. It would have to be bigger than the moon at that distance...and it's not. We have had NEO's come within less than 1 LD (between us and the moon) and had no effect. We even have some forecast to dip below our satellites and they won't hit us either.

Doom porn. There is no known near earth objects that pose a threat any time soon. Not to say there isn't an "unknown" object out there with our name on it...just saying.
