Elusive Movie Quote Is Driving Me Nuts - HELP!

It's a woman speaking to a man, rather sarcastically with a good amount of inflection in her words. It might be a "classic" B&W film, possibly "It's A Wonderful Life" or something similar. Anyway, she says to this man something like:

"I think you talk just because you like the sound of your own voice"

It's driving me nuts. And I'm Mr. "Movie Trivia". The line - I can't get it out of my head, like the name of a song you can't quite remember. It's on the tip of my brain, but...

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, it's now banned in most countries across the globe.

Got this alot when listening to music some line of a song pops in my mind and i know i know the name of the song but cant just think of it.

Solution: dont stress it dont think about it just ignore it and then after some time the name just pops in my mind. thats the only advice i can give you.

a line that short with so many movies its a hard thing to get right but maybe with some luck someone here knows what you mean or it pops back in your mind.

Can you remember the background at all? We're they in a car, hotel, home, black and white, anything?

I once found Ollie Hopgood or something like that off of nothing but vacation and a pink flamingo.

Oh Doodle, I love that scene! They're "bastard people" just because they won't give him the $$ for his play, (which was an amount that dwarfed the municipal budget, by the way). Funny stuff.

Didn't see either of those, so it can't be them. I'm reasonably sure it's a woman talking. I almost want to to say it might be from an episode of the original "Twilight Zone" tv series. The woman's voice reminds me of Betty Rubble as well. It's stuck in my head. Maybe it's even from an episode of the Flintsones now that I think about it. But probably not though. I'm stumpled.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the quote in the OP is from "African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn.I just watched it recently and think I recall a scene with that line or one similar...
