Its probably just that. North Americans are uptight and prudish concerning sex compared to most Europeans. My time in the Netherlands opened my eyes to that.

Here in the west, we put the television on for our kids and when violence and death come on, we dont care. Heaven forbid a sex scene plays out however! Off goes the TV and the children sent to bed.

Here, violence is more acceptable than sex between consenting adults.

I would worry if the woman i married was a virgin and i would be the only one she would ever experience. Wouldnt she become curious about what its like with other men eventually? It is bizarre isn't it? Frankly, i blame early man. The needle led to clothes, led to the ability to go off hunting, led to more and more violence (whilst wearing more clothes). If they hadn't of invented the needle, we would be buck naked now and living far less repressed lives.

Go with me on this, it also follows our modern thinking of blaming everyone and everything else for all of our current ills!

Im not so sure thats the root of the problem. Im pretty sure back in the cave man days, long before the needle, there was rivalry between tribes for hunting grounds. There was inter-tribal violence. If Grog wanted Oggs woman, he would simply kill or beat Ogg, then take her.

Im fairly certain violence is ingrained into our human DNA. After all, survival of the fittest is what drive out world on. To survive, often violence is exactly what is needed, and this has never changed.

My own husband had no problems with me not being a virgin; it's not about that. What it is about is when you realize that your first time should have been something special to share with someone who is the love of your life.

As far as worrying that your mate would have wondered what it was like to be with another person if she had never been with anyone else if your relationship is strong enough I don't consider that a worry. Of all the women I know who have cheated on their mate (and remarkably the majority have) in only one instance was it about sex. The rest were about not getting the attention, affection and respect that they felt they deserved and were not getting from their mate. The virginity factor didn't matter.

$780,000 is a pretty steep price to pay just so you can post 'FIRST" on Facebook.

Seeing as how our President has left me with NO change, and very little hope, I wonder how much a refurbished hymen is worth?

I simply think sex is a wonderful thing and while yes, some might value having had sex with only one person, i look back at my past and am grateful to each and every woman ive known. Each was a uniquely wonderful experience and i wouldnt trade them for anything. My wife is the most wonderful, amazing person ive ever known and being with her is wonderful, but i also would not want to have changed her past and made abstain until she met me. I assume the men she knew before me helped mold her into the goddess i know today.

Yes, the act of sex is VERY natural. But the act of prostitution and paying $780k for a one night stand is sick... The guy was betting feverishly to win this girl (like the story says), spiking from $190k to $780k in the last day... I consider the guy creepy and sick, you consider him normal...
