Autumn was allegedly lured to meet Justin, 15, and his brother Dante Robinson, 17, at their home Saturday because they wanted parts from her beloved BMX bike.

They were given up by their mom, suspicious over a Facebook message. Dante Robinson Justin Davidson The massive search for Autumn came to a tragic end Monday night when her body was found stuffed in a recycling bin at a vacant property near the boys’ house.

You guessed it, in America.

I'm stricken to know WHY this happens so often in America? Before you get defensive, of course this happens in other parts on the world and arent reported as often because it's another country and things are sensactionalized in the States. So now that's out of the way, I never once heard an incident about teenagers killing a child over a toy in Canada, let's say.

Is the media to blame? Is money that important to kids stature today? Are tv shows/movies of today, making people slip reality?

No, I don't think TV has anything to do with this. I've been watching the most horrendous horror movies ever since I can remember. I love horror movies. Well, giving it a second thought, Commercials do push to be cool through material possessions. If those kids weren't told that this is hogwash them maybe this could of enticed them to do this. But I think that no matter how well a person is educated or how they were brought up, if they 're going to kill someone, they're going to do it. I hope they get punished to the fullest extent of the law. Or leave them with her dad for 15 minutes.

That is....! well....!

I struggle to find words to describe my feelings towards these types of killings where ever they happen, and I am sure they are not isolated to America, such materialism is everywhere.

As a parent some words I could use are sad, sickening and gut wrenching, but honestly I can't even begin to imagine how the parents who outlive their child feel, what a horrific thought.

Don't those two look lovable. I would surmise that in most cases like this, its the parents fault for perpetuating the take or gimme attitude. Perpetuated racism, ignorance and entitlement.

Poor little girl.

I will not even try to comment on whom is to blame or why this happened. It's sad that life is becoming so hard for our children, and for us, when life is supposed to be a wonderful experience.

RIP little one and I hope God greeted you as a friend.

why the hell is she going to meet 2 unknown guys.... by herself... so they could take her bike parts? what the hell?

Apparently she had seen the boys before as they all lived in the same neighborhood. She thought one of them was going to fix her bike. Obviously the boys mother did not condone this behavior since she turned her own children in to the police. Personally I think kids are desensitized to violence these days. Sure when we were kids we watched horror movies but today is a different game. We glorify violence. Most kids only play video games that are violent. The video game Grand Theft Auto rewards you for muggings, robberies and killing.
Of course this is no excuse for what happened to precious Autumn. However to blame the parents without justification is wrong. How many of us did things our parents did not know about?

Stuff like this used to happen to blacks... now it happens to whites.

I say kudos to mom for turning them in. Not many parents would do this difficult task. So please no one go around and blame her. Obviously she knows the difference between right and wrong and still instills those values in her household. Even if it meant giving up her two children.

www.suntime... s.com/sports/basketball/15230496-419/man-arrested-for-espn-post-on-killing-kids-over-lebrons-nike-shoes.html

TextLOS ANGELES — A California man accused of posting comments on ESPN’s website that said he was watching kids and wouldn’t mind killing them was being held Tuesday on $2 million bail after he was arrested for investigation of making terrorist threats, authorities said. Several guns were found at the man’s home Monday, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Steve Low. The name of the man, who is in his early 20s, was not immediately released as investigators are trying to determine if there are any additional suspects.

I think this type of thing happens so often that people are getting numb.

the worship of Mammon and Moloch is alive and well in the New Canaan [passing itself off as the New Israel]
it's called Consumerism and keeping up with the Jone's nowadays.

interesting that this piece of news comes out near election time

since a suspiciously very similar hoax was quickly exposed:

Americans Take The Presidential Campaign Wayyyy To Serious...,

not accusing YOU cal, just think it's kind of "strange"

I find this comment interesting:

Philip Wames, another neighbor, said he was conflicted. "It's almost like a relief that it's not some creepo," he said.

Is it better to be murdered by teenagers for a bike than to be abducted by a pervert for sex?

Also:

"We all thought that he was some creep luring children," said Joyce Fisher, who lives across the street from the boys who were charged and was a volunteer searcher who went to neighboring communities in search of a girl who was found a few hundred feet from her home.
link

Of course. It just had to be, right? They all were thinking it.

How does that affect a search? An investigation? A trial? A sentencing?

I don't know about that.

My cousin is a drug addict. My aunt (his mother) is also a drug addict. She condoned his drug use for years. Now she calls the cops on him for it.

Not saying this is what happened but for the mother to instill right from wrong to begin with, the kids would never have murdered someone. Correct?

I'm confused. Didn't it turn out to be a creep that lured the girl anyway? Two creeps actually.

These two creeps wanted bike parts. They werent out luring children (plural).

Different sort of creep.

By definition we're all creeps to somebody.

The article even goes so far as to explicitly state there was no sign of sexual contact.

Because that's apparently all little white girls are good for.

As if the media and many of the people in the area just concluded what had happened on their own long before anything was discovered.

This blatant disregard for life is alarming beyond measure. What kind of household taught those two little monsters that it was OK to kill a young little girl, much less anyone? For a freaking bike?! Murder for nothing seems to becoming more and more pervasive.

I'm at a loss to attempt to understand this in any capacity. Its like humanity is devolving. I'm a product of the 60's and these last ten years have been the most outrageous period I've ever observed in human behavior.

And yet, it's perfectly fine for another 12 year old to be left at home alone to shoot an intruder.

The world is a mess because of absentee parenting!

There has always been crime, and stupid crime. This is a horrific story no doubt. But would it be news if she wasn't white?

If you check the papers from 100 years ago, there were the same crimes. Serial killers have always existed, killings over toys have always existed. It is just in your face now.

I remember that crap. There was this one kid who had a Raiders Starter trench coat. He got killed and sombody else had his coat. A month later that coat was on another ghetto trash idiot. And on and on for three years that jacket would move to somebody else and the kid who wore it mysteriously disappear and the cops would come into the school to escort out a screaming fighting kid.

Looking back on it it seems like 10-15% of the class in that town must have been in jail for a period of time.

I came really close to buying that jacket from one of the first to wear it too. I thought it was really cool. Didnt know anything about football at the time. I just thought the black hooded trenchcoat was cool. Imagine if I had had the money on me that day. I could have been a ghetto casualty rotting behind some supermarket.

The shoes too. Jesus. Peddling by on bikes shooting at kids to get somebodys shoes.

This was in 6th and 7th grade too.

To think Starter branded crap is carried in Walmart now.

I also remember the Triple Fat Goose jackets. I dont recall anyone dying over one but plenty of people were beaten and robbed for them.
