Meh...I could care less of some poll. You can scew the numbers all day long to represent what you want them to represent. Besides, the world doesn't really have that much of a say in American elections, just opinion.

I do however, care about what Americans think as they are in my neighborhood.

Let the games begin.

And let the world watch.

I didn't vote for either Obama nor Romney, but there is a devious side of me that hopes Romney wins...just out of spite.

I'm sure the UN and other countries have absolutely no affect on our delegates... just saying.

Nice reply to a post that wasn't directed toward you, care to discuss the topic at hand? Or just do what every Romney supporter does and discuss nothing about him but just keep talking about Obama. Next.

Obama has the endorsement from many dictators. That should be the kiss of death. You act as if Obama hasnt been president and its been Romney. Your a tool and a mouthpiece for the DNC.

Ignorance in denial.

Oh, well... Since the rest of the world thinks that...I'll just run right down to the polling place and vote for good ol' Obama...

Not.

I care not a bit about what the rest of the world thinks about who should be our President. I wouldn't, at this point, vote for Obama if he were the only one running. Nor for that matter, would I vote for Romney...

The rest of the world? Wooopty tee dooooo!!

Yeah, I know, really mature of me...
.

But I honestly don't care who the world wants...it's what American's, those who can be bothered, think.

But they do...through donations through the various PACs.

This has been seen time and time again, on both sides of the two major political parties.

Of course, nothing is being done about it.

So what if the rest of the world prefers Obama.................they aren't Americans, and they can't vote in U.S. elections. Its not their right to decide our election anyway. Although I respect the opinions of people from other countries regarding U.S. elections, its impossible for them to make an informed decision about this or any U.S. election because they don't live here.

Isn't it obvious? Other countries love what has become of America under the socialist regime of the last 4 years. Romney represents the threat of America getting back on it's feet again and becoming the world power that it once was. Of course they will favor Obama- it is in THEIR best interest.

Ya know what is interesting? The only country that prefers Romney in those surveys? PAKISTAN...the vacation home of the recently departed OBL. What does that tell you?

It tells me that they are sick of drones.

And hope that Romney won't keep it up.

Something tells me that they are hoping against hope. Kinda like those who voted for Obama back in 2008.

Romney won't keep up a military complex? Really that must be what those Pakistani's are thinking since Republicans have a 'clean' record when it comes to war. It could be that Obama didn't kiss their ass like Bush did, otherwise OBL would've been killed during Bush's 2 terms.

I made this point earlier, the only thing anyone can come up with is "drones", I think it's more from the fact that Obama doesn't favor Pakistan like Bush did.

Well I'm happy your not a delegate, since clearly delegate's are influenced by not only the UN but all countries approval. Take it to the bank, Obama 2012 because the world wants it. Doesn't matter what you conservative bigots want.

Some of you are paranoid as #, it's quite funny to see people claiming that the rest of the world is trying to push down america in order to be on top.

So as a french I'll give you my point of view : yes, you should be interested by those polls (or should I say "by polls about what the world think about your elections"), nowadays the world turn around diplomacy and it's never a good thing to be seen as a prick by your allies.
I remember back when Chirac decided not to follow Bush Jr in Middle East, the anti-french vibe was huge (and no, I'm not talking about freedom fries) it took us a Sarkozy to straighten that up (and damn, what a price to pay).

The problem about Romney isn't that he'll bring America on its feet, to be honest I'd rather have the USA as the n°1 superpower than China as I've got way more common points with americans than chinese, culturally speaking. His problem from my point of view is that he's made of the same wood as Bush, a guy that'll give more power to the powerfuls and less to the others, the kind of guy that'll try to start a war right after he finished the last one, the type of person that'll keep bringing "commies" and "socialists" to the discution as insults (I saw a few on the first pages that should get out of their cocoon once in a while).
From my point of view he seems a bit rude, not as rough as Bush Jr but you know... the kind of guy that'll be all smile in front of important people and cameras and turns out to be some rude/scornful prick when he's not under the spotlights.

I'm not fond of Obama but I feel closer to him as he seems to be less of a show-off as Romney, I liked the fact that he fought to bring a more serious healtcare to the USA which is for me something great as I think our governments must be able to provide a decent protection to its citizens. I don't really understand why you'll be opposed to that (and to welfare) as I think every country powerful enough should give to its people the means to be cured or to be able to live decently while looking for a job, it times like these it can be a matter of life or death for some people.
I don't mean to judge, it's my personnal feeling, but I think you can't call yourself great if you 're not good enough to give a hand to the people under your roof when they are in need.

Anyways, I'm not voting and whoever wins I don't think it'll change anything in my life.

BBC poll shows overwhelming WORLD support for Obama

Then they are idiots. There is no real difference between the last two years of Bush43 and the four years of Obama. And, except for Israel, there is almost no substantiative difference between Obama and Romney. Romney/Obama = same/same. Oh .. and I don't give a rats backend what the world wants. I'm sure they don't have Americas best interest at heart.

Really flyers? Romney and Obama equal the same thing? Actually they don't, not with their views on taxes, medicare, gay marriage, women's rights... I'll just stop there since clearly there is a whole lot different about Romney and Obama. Clearly at the base of it all though I'm not voting for Romney right out of the gate why? Because he's a bigot and he'd like to give himself a tax cut. End of story.
