they did not start WW1.....

how exactly did THEY start it?

Yes they did, Austria and Germany declaired war on Russia, and then France, which in turn got Britain involved.

Germany was already heavily millitariesed, everyone was on their toes about Germany, they knew that all they needed was a poke and world war would break out. That assaination was that poke, everyone knew that they had to join forces in order to defeat Germany.

here let me explain this to you...

Two bullets fired on a Sarajevo street on a sunny June morning in 1914 set in motion a series of events that shaped the world we live in today. World War One, World War Two, the Cold War and its conclusion all trace their origins to the gunshots that interrupted that summer day.

Berliners cheer a regiment of
Lancers headed for the Front.
August 1914
The victims, Archduke Franz Ferdinand - heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and his wife Sophie, were in the Bosnian city in conjunction with Austrian troop exercises nearby. The couple was returning from an official visit to City Hall. The assassin, 19-year-old Gavrilo Princip burned with the fire of Slavic nationalism. He envisioned the death of the Archduke as the key that would unlock the shackles binding his people to the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

A third party, Serbia, figured prominently in the plot. Independent Serbia provided the guns, ammunition and training that made the assassination possible.

so the Austrian empire and Serbia started WW1

yet people blame Germany.....HOW

that is BS

everyone had huge armies, it was the status symbols of the time....cathedrals went out of style...

there was nothing special about Germany except its wealth to be had.

EDIT:

they had to join forces to defeat Germany?

the big guy was the Austrian empire....the last one standing was Germany, that is all...that is why Hitler said they had won the first world war, but the sell out was so complete that they were blamed for everything....even though they were only as guilty as everyone else, aiding an ally in a dumb war.

no one in Germany could believe that they signed the Versailles treaty...it was a sham and the German representatives were not honestly representing Germany, but rather other powers.

EDIT:
and Europe acting out of greed abused the German people so much that a second WW erupted in which the back lash was paid with American lives...many of them

that is not to mention the cold war...something we inherited from our European conflict...

here is yet another example of what I am speaking about...

so this pork chop.....Jose Manuel Barroso, tried to blame the state of the global economy and especially that of Europe on the US....everyone did a face palm....even Merkel....because really that sort of anti Americanism from Europe is just insane.

we were the whipping boy there for the economic crisis, even though Europe has more influence on the world bank and the IMF than anyone....but no...the yanks did it.

Barroso Blaming U.S. for Euro Crisis ‘Foolish,’ Investors Say

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso’s claim that the U.S. is to blame for Europe’s debt crisis is “foolish” and further undermines confidence in the region, investors managing more than $400 billion said.

“This crisis did not originate in Europe, this crisis originated in North America,” Barroso told a press conference at the Group of 20 meeting in Mexico late yesterday. “Our financial sector was contaminated by, how can I put it, unorthodox practices from some sectors of the financial markets.”

Leaders including U.S. President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel are meeting in Mexico to attempt to fix the European debt crisis that’s threatening to plunge the global economy back into recession. They gathered after Spain’s borrowing costs soared to a euro-era record and elections in Greece failed to damp the threat of contagion.

“What is the point of this statement?” asked Yves Bonzon, chief investment officer of Geneva-based Pictet & Cie, which manages $387 billion. “It is shocking. What’s the contribution to improving the situation? Nil. If anything he’s contributing to destroying further what’s left of confidence in the system.”

and here is another

the US is made out to be the bad guy for not sending troops to yet another foreign conflict that does not concern us.

The world LOVES it when we send our army to fight their battles, they get to whine about American imperialism, and get the dirty work done....but why then don't they send their own troops and deal with the backlash.

US to blame for inadequate international response on Syria, says former Israeli ambassador

distinguished former Israeli ambassador to the United States on Thursday accused the Obama administration of prime responsibility for the international community’s failure to stop the killings in Syria.

Itamar Rabinovich, who was also Israel’s chief negotiator under prime minister Yitzhak Rabin in abortive efforts at peacemaking with Syria in 1992-95, said that “it’s not Russia that’s preventing intervention. Russia is the pretext, the alibi” for the lack of substantive international action. “If someone wanted to ratchet up the pressure on Syria, they could,” he said.

The real block, he told Army Radio, is the US government.
www.timesofisrael.com...

but where is europe?

European voices go silent on Syria
BERLIN — Last year, persistent calls from Europe led NATO into military action in Libya. Those passionate voices have been silent on Syria.

France and Germany are expected to push Russian President Vladimir Putin to agree to tougher measures against Syria when he visits Paris and Berlin on Friday. But with Europe bedeviled by economic crisis and political upheavals, few here expect its leaders to galvanize world opinion for a major intervention.

Instead, European leaders who once pushed a cautious Obama administration into action are far more likely now to toe the line on Syria as their energy is expended on protecting their fragile currency. That leaves the fragmented Syrian opposition with no Western partner willing to commit to a significant role in helping to oust President Bashar al-Assad, even as he escalates his iron-fisted tactics to suppress dissent.
www.washingtonpost.com...

so because we do exactly like Europe, we get blamed for the problems in Syria....but Europe is not to blame, even though it's on their freaking continent!

You need to learn Geography. Syria in not located within the European Continent. It is in fact on the Asian Continent (western asia to be exact otherwise known as The Middle East)
And before you pontificate about the US getting involved in European Wars you need to look at the US poking it's nose into Vietnam and Cambodia. It may interest you to know that those wars involved no European involvement. In fact Lydon Johnson asked the then British Prime Minister Harold Wilson for British troops to be involved in Vietnam. Wilson told him to bugger off.

no, we replaced the French in Vietnam, and in essence took over as the western powers involved in destabilizing that area of influence.

But you are right Syria is not right in the European continent....just right next to it and connected via land....but hell send in the Americans because poor Europe is busy dealing with its bad Euros

Yes the US was led to believe that since Europe had interests in Vietnam that they would want to preserve some of them in a former colony......but no...lies...

EDIT:

and funny you should mention Vietnam. That is another whipping boy incident. Since we stepped in the French got a free pass for all the atrocities they performed in their years of colonization there. How they never released the locations of land mines in civilian areas, even after the US withdrawal....some that still kill people today....but since we were the last one there, we are labeled the baby killers. Not like the French were not there and did not behave like perfect saints.

but hey jump on the band wagon and erase decades upon decades of French imperialism in Vietnam for a war of 15 years.....and blame everything on the US

WW1 started on 28 July 1914 when what became the Central Powers stated invading everyone. The Austro Hungarians invaded Serbia and the Germans rolled into and over Belgium, Luxembourg and France. The rest is history, unless you don’t believe history and in which case just make up what you like. Forget the political hyperbole, wars start when someone pulls the trigger.

In both WW1 and WW2 it was Germany who did the invading.

The Treaty of Versailles was controversial at the time with the UK saying the French were being too harsh. Nevertheless, Germany had just made sure 1.3 million Frenchmen never saw the light of day and destroyed half of France, so perhaps with that in mind they had cause to punish the defeated Germans.

yet who were the original countries involved...the Austrian empire and Serbia....everyone else was an ally engaged in fighting after the fact.

Germany did no more invading than any other country in history in times of war...yet they were BLAMED for starting the war....because they killed arch duke Ferdinand, trained the Serbians, armed them, and then killed their allies son...

they were the last one standing is all..

how many other nationalities lost in the millions you think....you think Germany lost millions of its people....maybe the Austrians, or the Italians, or the English, they all killed and died in the millions.

BUT

You're still are missing the point, what did they do differently then all the other powers of the day...why did they get the full bill for the war and then some...?

Forget the political hyperbole, wars start when someone pulls the trigger.

yes and a Serb pulled it.....yet Serbia called Russia, and Russia France, and France the UK...so by your logic, and that of Versailles.....Russia was also to blame for answering their allies call to war.....but who´s ALLY ASSASINATED WHO? Russia´s did, and France and the UK were fine with going to war in essence defending a sovereign monarch being assassinated by a radical...

The US got involved in Vietnam all on it own. Europe never asked you to be there (In fact there were frequent demonstrations in European and other world Capitals against US involvement)
So because Asia is connected to Europe you reckon Syria is part of Europe? That's like saying that Brazil is part of North America because Central and South America are connected

As for WWII you need to do some research on "The New Order". That innocent Austrian Corporal Adolf Hitler was anything but innocent:-

no I don't "Rekon"....it is connected by land and should be Europe's problem NOT the US´s across the Atlantic....maybe I should have said land mass....is that all you have...something I admitted was an oversight...

Do you have a real point to bring up or is that it....aren't you pissed I am a great speller?

by your logic neither did the US want to be there, since we had MORE demonstrations against the war....but our leadership does the dirty work of your leadership.

EDIT:
so you are saying Hitler started WW1?

I did not say he was innocent, my dear boy....that has nothing to do with what I DID SAY...I guess facts suck to argue with when they are contrary to your perceived sense of the world....

from your source

New Order
Among other things, it entailed the creation of a pan-German racial state structured according to National Socialist ideology,

"The Führer gave expression to his unshakable conviction that the Reich will be the master of all Europe. We shall yet have to engage in many fights, but these will undoubtedly lead to most wonderful victories. From there on the way to world domination is practically certain. Whoever dominates Europe will thereby assume the leadership of the world"

what is the European union?

Who is the lead member state?

who has fiscal power over Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy in short order once all their "bail outs go through"

yeah.......keep talking isht about your founder.

and wiki huh....should I accept your one source over my multiple ones? is that it. and wiki to boot.....

How is the NWO not a European creation again?

The European Union? You will find it's not lead by a megalomaniac.

so from now on I will say...BECAUSE I SAY SO.....END OF STORY.....!!!!

and be correct is that it?

oh and Europe is lead by crazy people....they let the world fall into financial ruin for profit....that is damn insane to me.....

not to mention NATO and the UN have an overwhelmingly European presence....so their actions should be weighed as sane or not....while we are saying this one guy in history was worse than anyone in office since.....

And in conclusion, another Corporal named Napoleon also wanted to dominate Europe. He was also a megalomaniac. Hitler should have learned from him, but as i said megalomaniac's cannot be reasoned with.
