At least he was man enough to own up to his inappropriate remark, and apologize. His Daddy raised him right...

Des

if we look at his first comment that he would take a swing at the President
i would say his daddy didnt raised him right

he did say sorry afterward .. but they are obviously in damage control now
he had pression on him to say sorry

sorry but this Tagg Romney wasnt raised right because of what he said in the first place

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

Des

I agree with you on this one.

It sounds like he was raised right, good on him.

I know

What can I say, I am big on apology, I think it has meaning until there is reason to think otherwise

I wonder if you guys will apologize for lying and making things up about the prez?

It's kind of hard for you guys to act holy when the lot of you propagate lies with such efficient
mastery.

I haven't lied or made up anything about Obama. I didn't vote for Bush and I'm not voting for Romney. I think you are barking up the wrong tree my friend. You'll have to pick a fight with someone else.

The best choice was Ron Paul and by far
the republican made sure by electing Romney with an unfair process
that Obama would win this election

Ron Paul didnt endorse Romney
and never will !

Romney = NOT RELIABLE

Sir, I would like to remind you that there is a double standard in America.

Obviously you have forgotten. Now go vote 7 times for Obama in order to apologise, or one of the Obama followers will tweet nasty things about your family.

the people behind ignoring all the Ron Paul delegate at the GOP convention
are the reason why the republican will loose to the democrates

so congrat to your own downfailure !

many republican that were voting for Ron Paul
will now switch to the democrates and vote for Obama
because Ron Paul will never endorse Romney
only that tells a lot

thats why i support Obama so much now
because i will never endorse Romney
since we have only 2 choices .. we dont have much choice to vote for Obama
if i had a choice between Bush and Romney .. i would vote for Bush

I think if his daddy really taught him right, he wouldn't have made the comment in the first place. The apology might have even come from pressure from Mitt Romney for not wanting it to reflect back on his campaign. I thought non-violence was one of the main tenets of Mormonism.

Nobody is perfect, not even sons of billionaire Mormons. I guess he is human after all. Now if he had actually swung on Obama...That would be worth discussing!

Obama would have never win against Ron Paul and thats a fact
thats why at the GOP convention .. they descredited RP
many republicans are in fact hidden democrate and wanted Romney for that purpose only

Very true, no one is perfect. An even more interesting brawl to have a discussion on would've been Mitt vs Candy. She was not a happy moderator when it came to Romney trying to steer the debate.

This is where that remark came from..... it's not as serious as it sounds.

He was asked how he felt in an interview how he felt when the POTUS called his dad a liar. This is a "fantasy' answer, not a real live physical answer.
Most kids who love their parents would react similarly and defend them if some one called their dad a liar.

But it was all talk, nothing more......

Asked in that interview what it's like "to hear the President of the United States call your dad a liar," Tagg Romney joked about his fantasy response.

"Jump out of your seat and you want to rush down to the debate stage and take a swing at him," he said. "But you know you can't do that because, well, first because there's a lot of Secret Service between you and him, but also because that's the nature of the process. You know they're going to try to do anything they can do to make my dad into something he's not."

"We signed up for it, we've got to kind of sit there and take our punches, and send them the other way," he continued.

Asked about the original comments on Thursday, Romney campaign spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg said Tagg Romney was "joking about how frustrating this process can be for family."

Just another example of how something meant sarcastically gets taken out of context and blown out of proportion.

It's not what it sounds like.....

It's an off the cuff remark during an interview when he was asked about how he felt about when the POTUS called his dad a liar...... normal reaction I would think for a kid to stand up for his dad.

Just some one trying to put more of a spin on it than is needed IMO.....

the guy is like 44, and he sounds like a kindergarten kid.

on top of that he's sounds like a fool, because if he really meant it, he would have punched the 10,000 times he was face to face with him.

and why wasn't he charged with threatening the president of the united states like 99% of the population would have been.

if his daddy raised him right he would never have said that in the first place.

Kids say things all the time without regard for the consequences or caring how their parents will react. It was good for him to apologize on his sown conscience.

You really think he apologized on his own and not because advisers and handlers told them to?

He didn't physically threaten him.

That remark came during a radio interview when he was asked HOW he felt about the POTUS calling his dad a liar...

It was a flippant "fantasy" remark not to be taken literally. He was just standing up for his dad.

Of course, once the MSM took it and ran with it, putting a spin to it, he apologized to Obama.

I am fairly certain lots of people want to hit Obama in the face. It doesnt matter if he is commander and chief. (unless you are in the military).

If someone was saying ignorant things about your father- how would you want to naturally respond?

I wouldnt have apologized if I really meant it-which Im sure he did.

Why be sorry? Lots of people wanna hit Obama in the face.

I have some Latin to .. just for Romney :

Deus caeli, Deus terrae,
humiliter majestati gloriae Tuae supplicamus
ut ab omni infernalium spirituum potestate,
laqueo, deceptione et nequitia,
omnis fallaciae, libera nos, Domine.

Oh come on now, the fact that the person is dishonest and has potential to do harm to this country does not mean that he's really the Devil and needs to be exorcized...
