Blues....There's the mainstream party stuff that college kids go out and dance to at clubs. There's the stuff popularized by Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Then there's the darker stuff. The haunted stuff.

I can picture Skip James sitting out on the porch sometime in the early 1930s, under the Mississippi moon, playing what was to become "Hard Time Killin' Floor Blues".

I can picture Robert Johnson, walkin down a lonely Mississippi road, worrying about the hellhound on his trail.
Spooky stuff.
I'll post a couple of the haunted blues classics, but first I'd like to share with you
"Mr. Blackbird" by The Wormwood Brothers. Very, very eerie...

Went south to talk to Mr. Blackbird
Past the twisted rails
When I talked to Mr. Blackbird
No mojo for sale. No mojo for sale
I've got a terrible feeling on harvest moon
Oh, the night is bleeding.
Mr. Blackbird's comin soon.

Wow! Thanks for the replies. I'm a huge Peter Green fan. His late 60s stuff is incredible.
