Consider, Obama just won't listen to any critiicsm. He is wedded to Keynesian economics which have spectaculrly fainled in the US.

He wins and the economy will ultra-tank...and people will blame him and feel bitter for putting him back for 4 more years.

At some point, another run on the banks will occur and the US debt will finally crack with the US being unable to service its debt as no-one will be buying T-bills any more. Greece could live on economic lifesupport from Germany, but there is no-one capable of shoring up America.

As a tidal wave of economic breakdowns hit, overwhelming the US Government, how long before someone in the US military, reeling from heavy cuts by Obama in failed attempts to balance the budget, decides to pull the plug and pull a coup to overthrow Obama?

Why do you think that the state of the economy rests solely in the president's hands? Do you have any idea why we're in this mess? Hint: it's not the president's actions, not Bush's or Obama's.

If you want someone to blame, blame our incompetent congress and supreme court who take bribes from corporate lobbyists to allow abuse of the free market; blame the entire govt for allowing crony capitalism, blame the dips***s who actually buy into Reagonomics, blame the citizenry for being blind to the people who are robbing them and their children of a future, but please don't scapegoat the president as if he or she can actually wave a wand and fix the economy. This economy will tank regardless of who becomes president, because the president can really only issue more GOVERNMENT JOBS; he can't force private companies to hire more people, and in fact doesn't have the balls to tell private companies anything because the corporations behind this collapsing economy are his bosses.

People are growing too lazy; the individual has always been the default job creator, but somewhere along the line people began to grow complacent in all of these awful day jobs and lost their entrepreneurial spirit. If you NEED to make money, you'll find ways. Trust me.

Of course, with the rise of welfare and government handouts, most people never actually feel a need to make money; the brain embraces mediocrity as long as it has a place to sleep and food to eat. This has always been the case, and always will be the case. Being an alpha in a competitive, social species is tough, man, and being a beta has its perks...

Like the coup that was exacted on bush v2.0? 3 months to the minute after a certain patsy was executed?

They call it 911, and the OS is that israel can do what it pleases, but with added special, 'seize the crisis' emphasis. It didn't work out so good for the Constitution, now did it?

No thanks.

I'm certainly not suggesting a coup, but wonder how long before someone presses the "Go" button on it.

The only coup that's possible is grass roots. Or an act of God~one that everyone understands, nevermind your 'religious' bent. Anything else is instantly capitalized on, by rahm emanuel and his minions, and made worse. The media, you know...some persons actually believe what they say, because it's safer, not the truth.
