I have about had it with the postal service, I will never ship though them nor will I purchase anything from a buisness that ships by USPS ever again.
First off this isn't about all usps employees, I really like my normal mail man. He is so nice and has never lost my mail or delivered to the wrong
address and he gives everyone christmas cards. I always get him a small christmas and Bday gift but he retired. Seems like the new generation of usps
workers just don't give a crap about their job or peoples packages.
I can't count how many times the usps delivered my package to the wrong address, damaged my stuff, lost my mail, or left my package out in the rain
when I left a note saying to put it in the big rubbermaid chest next to the door. I also don't understand why they charge so much for express when it
never gets there when they say it will. They have the rudest customer service that knows absolutley nothing.
So I ordered a Sony Viaio laptop a week ago. It shipped out of Virginia on Oct 15th and when I tracked it from usps website it said delivery is on the
18th. Next day I tracked it said its still in Virgina but the delivery changed to the 19th. Everyday the delivery date changed to a later date, as of
now its the 24th. The best part is I'm having it shipped to New Jersey and the package made it to the sorting facility in Maryland but instead of it
continuing north to NJ it went to North Carolina, which is further south then from where it was originally shipped..
I never had a problem with UPS or FedEx. I once got a delivery from ups at 11pm so I would get my package on time.
This is about the 14th time they had my packages hopping all over the country. One time I orderd 2 EO-tech sights costing a total over $1200. from
florida and having it shipped to mississippi and it ended up in washington state then to new york, it finally arrived broken and 2 weeks late. Trying
to get my refund for 2day air delivery and for the damage (I had it insured through the usps) was almost impossible, I had to get my friends mother
who was a attorney to threaten with a lawsuit.
So knowing how shady the usps is I made sure I recorded the calls I made to the customer service and without fail they were not able to give any
answers and when I said that I want a refund since I paid for Express shipping they said I didn't pay for express shipping a paid for parcel post
which is the cheapest and slowest. I told him that was BS I have the reciept in my email it says 2-3 day shipping $36.89 and parcel post would only
cost about 8 or 9 bucks. I told him he is wrong and you guys are always trying to scam people out of their money and its no wonder why you guys are
going bankrupt. That's when he lost his cool and went off on me.
A while ago I kind off made buddies with our state senator and anytime I had a problem I would give him a call, I told him about my problems wth the
usps before and my total dislike for them. He sad any more problems like that get proof and give me call or email me. So that's what I did, I sent
him all the emails from them, the recorded phone calls saying I didn't pay express and my tracking number so he can see how horrible they do their
Sorry for that long rant, I'm just so annoyed. Just about everyone I've talked to has gone through similar experiances the usps. Like I said I'm
not saying all the postal employees are bad, and I know most of the work stressful jobs, all I'm asking is just for them to do what they say they wil
do and don't lie to me or tell me I'm llying.
