Looks normal to low activity to me.

I check earthquakes a couple times a day, for about 2 years now.

Pretty impressive.

Maybe the Mayan calendar was off by a couple of months?

There was a 5.1 today and 4.8 yesterday in Russia. Other than that, I'm not seeing anything. So what is up with their seismic reading?

Everything seems to be pretty normal. I check on earthquakes throughout the day. Only thing that is unusual is Russia's weird seismic reading.

That is the reading you get when the sensor, transmitter or receiver are defective and just sending or receiving a garbage signal. No earthquake readings look like that.

So seismic is still kinda funny looking.

Are the needles supposed to be that far out?

I used to monitor that site, but all it shows is that a strong earthquake anywhere in the world will make many of the other seismometers ring like so many bells. The fact that so many of the graphs are just a response to the actual quake somewhere else makes that site pretty useless unless you know how to interpret all the readings.
