Obama is not my guy. However, I believe the GOP is a much bigger threat to our nation than the Democrats. I passionately despise their ideology and extremism. I think there's an ever thinning line between them and the Taliban.

Wow...your last comment is pretty far out there.

Do you have any idea what the Taliban stand for - and what they have done, and what they do on a daily basis? I would have to say, obviously not...

Sensitive information should not be leaked in any case. Therefore the current administration should be impeached/fired, including the President. Outrage should be spread evenly instead of being one sided. There should be no sides when lives are at stake.

Yes I'm quite aware of exactly what I'm saying. Are you aware that the Taliban didn't start out openly murdering and disappearing people right off the bat? The started as anti-communists and through military backing from other Arab States finally secured control of Afghanistan. Once secure, they started off pretty moderately but then began instituting Sharia Law. Sharia Law IMO is not so far off from what Christian Fundamentalists within the GOP espouse.

The point is this.

Even AFTER US Citizens were killed, Obama's failed Policies, have yet put even more lives at stake with his obfuscation, and unwillingness to do the right thing. Admit to his mistakes. Take REAL blame, and stop letting those, like Hilary Clinton, jump on the sword, for his failures. This whole thing reeks of Fast and Furious. Needless Deaths, that didn't have to happen.

As the head of state it does fall on Clinton's lap. The president doesn't assign security details. Maybe you should learn how things work before placing blame. And if security was so important the why did Paul Ryan lead the charge to cut funding for security to embassies?

It was a Republican, Daryl Issa, who was responsible for this.

Romney = G.W Bush 2.0

Romney = G. W Bush 3.0 Obama has been carrying out Bush's policies so he was the second version.

- The security problem in Libya falls on Hillary. She owns it and she said so. (good for her!!)
- The continued lies to cover came from the White House. They own the after-the-event coverup.

And the white house followed what intel told them. At least they owned up for their failure not start two more wars to cover their failure like the last failure in chief did.

Exactly right.

For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed spending $1.934 billion for the State Department’s Worldwide Security Protection program — well below the $2.15 billion requested by the Obama administration. House Republicans cut the administration’s request for embassy security funding by $128 million in fiscal 2011 and $331 million in fiscal 2012. (Negotiations with the Democrat-controlled Senate restored about $88 million of the administration’s request.) Last year, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that Republicans’ proposed cuts to her department would be “detrimental to America’s national security” — a charge Republicans rejected.

Ryan, Issa and other House Republicans voted for an amendment in 2009 to cut $1.2 billion from State operations, including funds for 300 more diplomatic security positions. Under Ryan’s budget, non-defense discretionary spending, which includes State Department funding, would be slashed nearly 20 percent in 2014, which would translate to more than $400 million in additional cuts to embassy security.

Washington Post

Makes you wonder just exactly how far the GOP is willing to go to make Obama a one term President. I'm all for getting him out and putting in someone who actually cares about restoring America to it's former Glory. That person is not going to come from this GOP.

Instead of going after him for the things he has done to increase Government (Oh yeah they wanted the NDAA, over zealous cyber security, more government involvement in our everyday lives, too), they're engaging in a game that WE pay for and jeopardize both American and American allies, lives.

OF course it was.....

in comparison..

folks can check out the response from (one of ) the last time's a US Ambassador was assassinated...

Notice a difference?

Nice try Mister...
Obama's ideology is the controlling influence here, not Politics...nice try Mister.
Here is how September 11th went down:
Government employees (pension, pension, pension...) focused on two things their pension and pleasing the Boss aka Obama so that their pay and benefits (pension, pension, pension...) continue like all government do.
Obama wants a different tack than Bush and that direction has flowed down the ranks and implented.
The whole Arab Spring period it worked as planned for Obama. This time it literally blowed up in their faces as they tried to discount Al Qeyda...when their Number 2 leader was killed by a drone the prior.

Did it say above top secret? heh, if things arent classified as eyes only, top secret, clearance needed, then it is just another document, who ever did not classify it correctly is the one to blame. It says his people contacted them and asked, but then says washington had no clue. Who are we to believe, one man trying to do his job the right way, or a a group of people that has done nothing but lie to our faces since the start?

he most likely went along and released knowing full well that those "operatives" were probably pulling another scam, like fast and furious, so better to get the names out first then mr obuma cant play "im the ruler" and make it all go away, because its public now. ^^

either way, oh no four more dead people, we killed 3500 hundred to stop oil countries from switching to the euro, and then a couple thousand more on foreign soil, hows that gone for us? 4-5 dollars a gallon, and everything still sky rocketing, more people die in police custody a month than this, if were worried about numbers heh?

but then again, 4 dead arabs is not optimal.

no criminal charges will be filed, as it was not top secret/eyes only, just marked sensitive. who ever did not correctly classify though, may very well be out of a job.

"The official says had the State Department been given that opportunity"

the official? this isnt some ground breaking inside story, its public so why withhold names,,,,, BECAUSE HES LYING

Genius of the GOP variety. How is the investigation supposed to move forward now if the Libyan contacts are compromised and probably going to be killed? What foreign person in their right mind is now going to trust the US Government with vital intelligence?

im pretty sure there arent many who "trust the us government with anything let alone with information. out trust comes with big piles of money, not years of good friendships lol.

"ranking member Elijah Cummings called out Issa on the timing: “It seems obvious that your goal in sending a public letter at this time is to release the most negative and distorted view possible of the attack in Benghazi ahead of the presidential debate on Monday evening.”

as in, awe wth you arent going to hold off for 4 years so obama doesnt look bad? this whole government is a freakin circus full of assclowns.

The President knew within 15 minutes of the event. He knew they were asking for security and he knew it was a terrorist attack within 15 minutes of it happening. Hillary is just taking another hit for this failed administration. There is no possible way a President of these United States did not get a phone call immediately with the details. This is a worse coverup than Watergate.

i guess the old adage he who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones means nothing to you. The OP should know that she/he doesn't have a leg to stand on about this subject yet do to her/his hypocritical nature she/he feels compelled to highlight hypothetical deaths/outrage rather then take into account the actually deaths that have happened due to misjudgements by her/his political party. The only conclusion one can come to is she/he is totally 100% politically biased in her/his judgements of situations practically turning a blind eye on any misdeeds if it doesn't suit her/his political agenda.

And nobody died in the Watergate affair.

If some have an issue with Issa releasing this unclassified information, they should place the blame on the current administration for NOT having classified this info, if is that sensitive.

Try studying the line items in the request first, before you blindly spout partisan rhetoric. Especially when it comes to federal budget requests. Too many times there are unrelated expenses covered within the requests.

Sharia Law IMO is not so far off from what Christian Fundamentalists within the GOP espouse.

Yeah, there are a lot of news reports about 14 year old girls being shot in America by Christian Fundamentalists for daring to attend school.

Yeah, they are really the same.

Yet.

Remember Sharia Law isn't by itself violent, it enforced violently though. The reason it's so easily used violently is because there is no separation between government and religion. Do you want Religious laws in this country? The GOP does.
