Hello ATS,

I am a long time reader of this site. I basically like ATS because of its wealth of knowledge on “conspiracy” and “spiritual” theories. I am very much into meditation myself and I do not follow any religion. I never bothered to create any account here until now. Let me explain why I decided to create an account and make this thread.

Lately, I have been observing that many of you are “expecting” something bad to happen. Maybe some prophecy or some sort of war like the “World War 3”.Every day I see some new thread on how some country is going to invade another country or how new missiles are invented or there is tension brewing between two countries which may lead to a war. The subconscious meaning of why people are doing this is because they are “expecting” a upcoming war , famine, disaster or something equally bad.
Ok now I will now request you guys to stop doing it. Because by “expecting” a war you are basically “imagining” a war .And as we all know, thoughts have power.
According to Law of Attraction ->

So just by imagining a thought (of a war) ,we are putting our thought and energy on a war. And when millions of people do it every day, the thought gets powerful and slowly begins to manifest itself. And this is the very reason why there is “tension” brewing among many nations of the world.
I know some of you will think of it as rubbish. I have no problem .I am not asking you to believe it. All I am requesting you to do is create more positive thoughts instead of the negative ones. Where you are today is because of your thoughts and where you will be tomorrow will also be because of your thoughts. Always think positive and make it a habit to identify the negative thoughts and turn it into something positive.
Conclusion :-
*Do not think of war , fights etc. Instead think of a world where there are no differences between people. Where people can live peacefully with each other with genuine compassion for each other. Where there is no hate. Where humanity is the religion .
(English is not my native language. Forgive me for my mistakes)

Dear svmpua,

Instead think of a world where there are no differences between people.

A world of complete conformity, doesn't sound that good to me. A world with minimal variety, at least not in the important matters sounds terrible and a religion that worships humanity sounds narcissistic to me.

I think people are just hungry for something out of the norm to happen, and somehow they convince themselves that something will happen.

I hear what you're saying OP. I absolutely do. Particularly those things which are routine and being blown out of whack by media or whoever....or things that don't rise to the level of true concern but do wonders for raising general anxiety as another brick in the wall.

I followed the experiments Coast to Coast did on collective thought and focus to bring tangible results and watched them halt that whole line of on-air experimenting because they was working to even a small degree and could go way off the rails too easily. So too, I've watched the Princeton Eggs...which likely feed off or are influenced from the very collective consciousness you would seem to be referring to in thoughts having power.

I have to say this though....and people who don't understand, I can't help by explaining. It doesn't work. It never has. It is what it is for me and others I know and it's genuine. 'It' is a tangible and very real feeling of 'something pending' or building. This, since late 2009 for me. I know others here have felt it longer than that and most, far less. I, for one, didn't go looking or asking for it......or the dreams that come with it. Another thing I can't explain to make a difference if someone hasn't experienced or isn't experiencing it. It's real enough though.

So...How does one tune out what one didn't ask for and that won't go away. Ever. It's something one learns to tolerate and stuff away...but once felt, it doesn't go away, as I hear others confirm my own experiences.

That's not what the OP means. "No differences" means that we all have absolutely equal value and respect. It does NOT mean that we're all the same. That was very indicative of precisely the kind of small thinking that is the root of the very problem the OP describes.

Think bigger, broader, nicer, kinder, and with a whole lot more love, thoughtfulness and consideration.

Dear CosmicEgg,

It is exactly what he said and how could you know what he or she was thinking when they said it? He also wanted a single world religion. Yep, he said what he said and it means what it means.

Yes, it means what it means and it doesn't mean that. How absolutely absurd.

You're trolling. Grow up.

The people on ATS have been predicting and talking about one doomsday prediction or another for years non stop. I would think something is seriously wrong if it stopped. Then every so often someone comes along and posts that everyone is too gloomy. It's all normal here. It is what it is. I believe electing poor choices for politicians who win using negative advertising only contributes to it.

Whats gonna happen to the WBC when such a reality manifests out of thin air?

People have spent their whole lives constructing these elaborate delusions about how the world works... positive thinking is not gonna solve this.

I am usually a very positive person. I had a bit of a problem that has had me feeling down...but not for long. I agree with you that positive thoughts breed positive actions and if we can just get the rest of the World to believe so. Split Infinity

People in general like their Doom Porn.

Movies filled with doom, disaster, apocalyptic happenings always seem popular.

Here at ATS, people desiring more than just doom on a silver screen come to fantasize about it happening IRL, possibly so they can justify all the money they've wasted on a gun collection, prepping, and other such.

Whatever the case, people gotta have their Doom Porn one way or another.

They'll either make something up, obsess over it to the point of having/fooling themselves into having 'prophetic' dreams/visions, or subscribe to whatever happens to be popular at the time.

Doom Porn sells.

I think your Opening Post is a good one with a positive message that all readers can take something out of. Even if the theory that collective thoughts can manifest into reality is not true, it does not hurt to encourage people to be more clam, collected and positive when expressing their views.

Unfortunately, we live in a rather negative world. Sure, there is lots of beauty out there, but we are continually conditioned to focus on the negatives and be pessimistic about the future. People tend to go over the top from time to time, but truth is painful when you have been deceived by those in positions of authority for so long.

I remember the eighties.
Everyone seemed to be more upbeat and positive.
Whimsical was seen as a good thing. Now it's seen as just weird.
Things have gone down hill from there.
Maybe it's because I was a teenager in the eighties but it's the last time I remember people who weren't suspicious and angry all of the time.
