Wow! Is It A Bird, Is it a plane, it's a...

It's...it's...something. I'm a skeptic but I took the picture. Here links to a picture I snapped October the 8th. I've added an image of the camera info for anyone who understands that stuff. And, I did run a filter on the image just for my laughs and giggles so there is an embossed version with the "object" enlarged.

The background would be thus. I was taking pictures maybe 40 degrees away from looking directly into the sun with the sun to my left. Even at that angle I couldn't see anything on the display and all I could do was point the camera I had extended out the window of the vehicle I was in. I had raised my head nearly rubbing the roof to avoid the glare. That's why at the moment I snapped the picture I couldn't see what was up in the sky in front of me. I make no claims whatsoever as to what it may be. I've looked at the obvious stuff and honestly don't know what to make of it. Have at it. I hope the pictures make through.

My guess? I would say a grasshopper. There have been many of them in the fields around Tucson lately...not sure if they are migrating or it's just nice weather for em. I can try and catch a similar shot of one flying this weekend if you like...

We can speculate what it is, but I couldn't state exactly what it is as the picture is quite blurry and the embossed version isn't that clear either.

Therefore U.F.O!!

Given the location ... a field .. what are the chances that its a large flying insect ?

It's going to get a little ribbing when accompanied by a blurry, nondescript object.

I'm just surprised no one has shouted "No, It's Superman!"

Could be close to the camera and spoof a "large" look.

I told them not to fly in that area!

It's just the illegals coming across the border from Mexico....I'll explain.

if they cross on foot they are likely to get caught or die from exposure in the desert climate.

if they try to sneak across in vehicles they again are likely to get caught.

they can't fly across in conventional aircraft because why class? ......they'll get caught.

So they have been using craft borrowed from extraterrestrials.

Sorry you had to choose your headline more carefully , But I think it looks metallic but really hard to see what it is . If you could tell more how this picture came to stand. Then most of us had more insight I think?
