So, as I age, I need to keep a stable of young people with my blood type and get transfusions on a regular basis?

This may work but seems more like the premise of a SciFy novel.

Nah, just keep a fridge full of cucumbers. When I start looking like the middle aged wreck I am, I eat organic cucumbers for a week and knock about ten years off my appearance for a good long while. I don't know if it's making me healthier, but I sure look better. Keeping cucumbers is a lot less bother than keeping pesky young people around.

IF it did do anything, I would bet it's only temporary. Kind of like drinking an energy drink. Our bone marrow is constantly producing brand new red blood cells. As we get older, I imagine this process starts to slow down a little bit, but definitely not enough to warrant something as disgusting as drinking blood! If one wants to build healthier blood, eating things such as fresh beets will do amazing things.

All the descriptions of drinking blood in this thread turned my stomach lol

How is this news?
Look up Alexander Bogdanov. He was doing this - with considerable success - in the early 1920s.
(He died in 1928.) He had an institute dedicated solely to blood transfusion.

P.S. When I say "look up", I am addressing mainly those news outlets who think this is a novel idea.

I am sure the scientists themselves know very well what he did.
At least I hope so.

I guess we'll be able to tell the vegans from the carnivores

I think the blood banks might start getting a little worried. Can you imagine the headlines:

89 year old Red Cross worker looks and acts like she's 50 , scientists and people around the world want to know what her secret is.

I also don't think that drinking blood would work the same as a transfusion. Just like athletes blood doping, if they drank some extra blood, I don't think it would have the same results as the intravenous method.

Um, It sure did not take long or you guys to lose track of reality with this topic.

First, Drinking blood will NOT give you the benefitial qualities of youthfull blood. You will simply digest it and will absorbthe iron. Much liek eating a rare juicy steak. Just like it wouldnt help someone dying of blood loss to drink blood...

I doubt having cages of young children and drinkign their blood would do any good at all.

As far as the mice are concerned I think there is a much more likely explanation to their improved performance.

in many endurance (cardiovascuar) sports doping is (illegally) used to take blood our of the body, or from another person, make it super oxygenated and rich and then retransfuse it back into the athletes body again. This gives the blood a high oxygen level and gives the athlete a superhuman amount of vox ability which directly improves endurance and the ability to use muscle function for an incresed moutn of time beore the body starts to require oxygen from the cardiovasculr system to supply the muscles with oxygen. Basicly. It allows the muscles to use the blood oxygen rather than the oxygen you get from breathing. The longer the body can use the oxygen already stored in the muscles and blood, the faster an athlete can go. usually printing is all stored oxygen and logn distance running is ll cardiovascular. So the logner you can sustain the internlly stored oxygen the longer you can perform at a 100% max output.

Well i would imagine the blood from youths would hve a much richer and higher oxygen level considering youths have a much higher vox level than most elderly. So by transfusing youthfull blood into elderly peopel would be simply nothign more than dopign their blood. And would only provide a short term boost before the blood oxygen level and iron amounts are depleted and reduced back to the bodys normal level of that person.

Let me get this straight... " Science " Made a break through, then you throw some religious crap at us...

Okay, with all that aside, science is now promoting the idea of taking blood from the young to give to the elderly? What if the young don't want to give up their blood for the elderly? I can see some sick hollywoodesque future coming about with the well off hearing about this one...

Maybe David Icke is right after all. He did always claim that the reason the Royal Family live so long is because they drink the blood of children

Not even that. Or rather, as I said earlier, it made it 90 years ago (because it was actual practice, not theory).
Not that very many seem to care.

Crazy
I wonder how blood types affect this as well

But this is just too easy, I don't believe it
Life isn't that simple!

It also sounds like what some conspiracy theorist have reported with seeing missing youth seen in elite cages inside bunkers or elite bases ect. Old ritual blood sacrifices, now visualize a massive blood sacrifice and what it takes to cause 1, first guess wars.. smh

I thought of that right away. So many say, but wont define, that its about the blood. And I'm ready for a really full and detailed explanation.

It's probably in the plasma. So much of the plasma disappears without a trace that it must be related to this thread.

Easy to find out. Get you some mice some old as dirt and some just itching to spread their seed and test it. I for one have a stock pile of mice for my 50+ snakes. Let the experiment begin.

In the related story about (Korea’s late leader reputedly spent years injecting himself with the blood of healthy youths.) I think the effect is short lived or only equates to small gains; Kim Il-sung lived only to be 83 and his son Kim Jong-il practiced the same thing and only lived to be 70...In terms of health, life expectancy at birth in Korea is 81 years.

So I wouldn't suggest going out and trying to drink from the young...a red bull would probably deliver the same boost.

I was just putting it out there.

There are many conspiracies that the bloodline elite actually drink blood during rituals etc. Whether it is true or not, I don't know but there's a lot of secret stuff that me and you do not know about and it would not surpise me in the least if some of the elite did partake in this kind of stuff.

An article came out that suggests through science that blood transfusions from the young can rejuvenate the elderly, as this is a conspiracy site and not the oh so truthful and reliable MSM, I thought I'd link the two.

Don't just dismiss everything based on your knowledge gained from main stream science- there is so much 'they' know that we know nothing about whatsoever.

How do you know that blood tranfused to an elderly person would not rejuvenate them in ways you do not understand?

Likewise, I don't know the answers but just because it is outside of your knowledge, does not make it impossible.

This article was based on a scientific study, it reported that the old mice were rejuvenated by blood from younger mice- they acted younger and were much faster than their old age counterparts.

If that is the case, do you know the science that dictates that this would not transfer to humans and that rituals back back thousands of years- there's so much we don't know for you to just dismiss it as nonsense IMO.

I think 12345lonestar is spot on. I mean, if these elderly were in the Tour De France, they would be in the USADA report right with Lance in a sense. But looking at the fundamentals, the blood from a person that is young and in prime hormonal quantities which contain VERY high levels of test and oxygen rich blood, transferred to someone who has NON existent test levels and lower level of oxygen which in a sense gives them a spark.

Whats this nonsense about the elites staying young and living a long time? Theres no magic going on. They get old and ragedy like the rest of us. Sure they manipulate the health care system to live longer. But they dont have the fountain of youth. Infact they mostly look horrible if you ask me.

Look at jacob rothschild. Ew. Pretty much proves my point. And of course dick cheney should be dead, why would you give someone that old a heart transplant while younger, less evil, people are dying on hlthe waiting list? My grandpa got old and his heart slowly failed. They gave him a pacemaker byt where was the offer of a new heart? Wtf?
