For me the funniest of all in these in this category are the ones that manage to prick the balloon of pomposity. The ones that I heard recently that make me laugh every time I remember them came from the marvelously funny Count Arthur Strong, for those not in the know this BBC radio series covers the attempts of an inept yet pompous man attempting to find employment in entertainment, and on the speaking circuit.

When quoting Churchill's Blood, Sweat, and Tears speech " We will fight them at the seaside" or quoting the great mans victory of the Battle of Britain Speech "Never in the field of human cornflakes, have so few , looked so many, from so far away".

So community for a little lighthearted relief what are your favorite deliberate comedy misquotes.
