Islamic fundamentalists destroy 8,000-year-old rock carvings

The Dome of the Rock........... another amazing target soon to bite the dust, mark my words. It's all leading this way, tit for tat, a good enough reason for leveling the Dome therefore making way for the rebuilding of the 'Temple'.
It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

I'm just watching prophetic history unfold.

Morocco denies destruction of ancient carvings

“The reports that these stone carvings were damaged, as you can see, is not true,” Communications Minister Mustapha Khalfi told journalists, on a government organised trip to the Yagour plateau.

“It is one of our goals to protect these pre-historic monuments, which reflect Morocco's cultural diversity and the deepness of our history,” Khalfi told AFP.

As proof, journalists were taken to visit the carvings, which are just fine - the report they were destroyed by radicals is just a piece of fiction pumped out by someone with an agenda.



As a cautionary tale however, carvings like these are always threatened, if not by religious radicals by encroaching development or ignorance by tourists who damage sites. There's a large number of petroglyphs in the American southwest damaged by graffiti scrawled across them by knuckleheads.

Look the reason they destroyed these artifacts is because Islamically public images and idols that are taken as objects of worship are not allowed. It is not Muslims trying to destroy history or art or anything like that, that is not their intention... Here are a few points of how they see it:

1. The object of worship (in this case image of the sun) is blasphemous becase it is worshipped rather than God Himself.
2. If they leave it intact then it may become be worshipped by people so it will take them away from the true worship of God and therefore to the hellfire.
3. f they destroy it, it removes the posibility of shirk (worship of other than Allah) and therefore removes that particular path which can lead people to the hellfire.

Islamic fundalmentalist are keeping Israel from building the Temple . This next war appears to be the war of Gog and Magog . It is possible that those new bigger rockets from the Arab attackers could destroy the Dome of the Rock . After all those rock chunkers aren't rocket scientist . If it does happen guess who will get blamed .
