Can you elaborate more on that? You said something about energies. That's similar to how I feel what reincarnation would be if it were... example my energy towards my mom is like a parent-child. Maybe in the next life she won't be my mom but maybe my aunt, grand parent, or family friend that is like a parent-child to me. My energy towards my best friend is like a sibling, in the next life she will be similar to that. Get what I mean? Maybe we won't find each other in that life time but I think certain energies we're supposed to be close to. Perhaps my two "romantic" energies or whatever in the next life they'll end up being two loves but for that life time perhaps one of them will be compatible to me because of how life works. Sort of like how i feel about my first love and my bf now...I will always have that part of him in my heart even though I still love my bf and I'm happier with him and we're more compatible. He's engaged now though and seems happier too. It's all wishful thinking to me but if this is what helps me sleep at night on reincarnation so be it lol.

The thought of reincarnation possibly existing has been depressing me and been bad to my health. I'm embarrassed to tell anyone about it except my mom. I haven't been eating and it's hard for me to enjoy life because I keep thinking about it.

That is why sometimes I wish I was atheist, it seems so much easier.

You really should follow what resonates with you. Like when you understood concepts when you learned them in grade school. Simple math, physics etc it kind of clicks with you when you gain understanding.
If you want to understand what I went through I'll walk through it.
I formulated my own thinking because of things I experienced and researched.
If you start with Heaven.
You believe in God. This was the base I had I always believed in God.
I used to wonder .... people said they felt touched by God. Then I wanted to know when's my turn.
I waited a long time.
While I waited I read other beliefs. Wiccan Hindu Jewish teachings New Age philosophies.
I had strange dreams and trance states of times I wouldn't know about.
I really thought there might be something about reincarnation.
Then I did experience a "touch" by God, it was amazing.
Since then other revelations came through.
The energies was something I experienced with someone I've never physically been near. So it will sound strange. To connect with someone where it feels you merge souls on a different plane. It felt like we were in another dimension. It felt like heaven and being flooded by unconditional love. This is all spirit. Yes there was an erotic element but not the same lust you feel in the physical. My heart chakra opened and I felt a direct connection to God.
This was so strange I had to research WTH was that. The other person freaked out more. We figured out we were from the same soul group and same frequency. Possibly twin flames. They connect to God and the purpose isn't for a romanticized relationship. This is the only explanation I have found.
So since then I've had trance states where I feel the energy with my husband.
His frequency is starting to match mine.
When we go to heaven I truly believe we will be awestruck by God's love and will have unconditional love for all others. I don't think relationships will be the same. Still thinking that one out.
Some that believe in reincarnation think this is the last generation before the ascension. That this is the last lifetime. Which makes this a moot point. I don't know about that one. I guess we will see.

When love is so intense, why would one want to bother with other types of love? Intense love and knowledge was my experience while having an NDE experience. It's a type of love that can't be described adequately with words. It's pure bliss to the infinite power. You won't be thinking about your love for pizza or sex!

This is my post from another thread

So I'm sure people are going to think this sounds strange but what ever. This is what I experienced, and all of us experience different things so....

I can't explain some parts because it will violate T&C
In the last 10 months I've experienced these bizarre trance states and this last one was about this.
My husband says he feels it too but not as intense.
The first one I felt God.
The 2nd I experienced what it felt like at creation.
Another was being in another "place" and it was beautiful.
Most of the time we both just feel our energy cycling, flowing but also cleansing at the same time.
We both describe it the same way too. Like a twisted figure 8 - infinity

So back to 2 nights ago. It was like experiencing what they (Adam & Eve) felt, like before they ate the fruit. Think like a child. Untainted unpolluted. I had said afterward "They weren't supposed to feel ashamed"
It seemed like God just wanted them to just "be".

There is more but I have to think about explaining it without breaking the rules.

Well actually yes 0 is part of it.
We get to a state of zero first then the zero shifts to infinity.
I described it as an 8 but that's 2 dimensional I say twisted because you have to think of it as 3 dimensional like a roller coaster in a loop in that shape. (I hope that makes sense)

The state of zero concept pertains to Ho'oponopono.www.idreamcatcher.com...

When you returning back to your most inner nature – to Zero – everything becomes available to you effortlessly and you are being driven by inspiration from Divinity, not by petty ego wants.

Joe Vitale wrote a great book on the subject called Zero Limits. When you returning back to your most inner nature – to Zero – everything becomes available to you effortlessly and you are being driven by inspiration from Divinity, not by petty ego wants. Ho’oponopono’s Zero is the same thing that Eckhart Tolle names Unmanifested.

So there is this music that we listen to that aligns you to zero. We listen to that first.

I thought that according to the bible, when we die, we're sleeping (senseless) until 'Judgement Day'?

And so what about babies? If there are no physical bodies, babies that have died just stay in an infantile state of awareness?

And what about animals? We know animals can have empathy.. empathy isn't love?? So there is only heaven and hell for human beings and animals are just God's stage set?

What happens to love if there is no heaven, no afterlife??

etc..etc..

That is the part my husband argues with me when I tell him John the baptist was Elijah.
He says well it says that the ones who pierce Jesus's side will be here for his 2nd coming. I say well it doesn't say they will be in the exact same form. What if the spirits of all that died end up reincarnating for Judgement Day.
That would help understand the babies, if they had died and come back.
I do think animals are in heaven, haven't had an vision of that yet.
Love definitely is there, it's what gets you there, sort of.

I hear what you're saying. I think it's like this. It says in the bible that in heaven you will no longer marry. So in essence it's also saying there's not that kind of love between men and women there. Why?

Well you got God's love. God's love is so powerful. It's unconditional. There's only 2 forces in the world that can offer that. You (if you learn to become your own best friend and actually care about yourself, and cultivate good healthy self esteem; and essecially stop being your own worst enemy) and ....God, who's love is always there, always perfect and unconditional. You can feel that love right now, and it's very powerful.

But my thought is if you get to heaven then you'll be in the direct presence of God the father, and by all accounts the love is so powerful that most NDE people hate coming back.

Anyway you can feel God's love right now if you just allow yourself to tap into it. I can't imagine how some people actually go through life without it? That would be a sad way to live.

I think you can feel something threw music. Even if you're not sure about God, sometimes a simple song can demonstrate God's love far better than you can put it into words. And if it rings home why not explore that and embrace that love.... here.... ;-) (If you've never felt it, you just got to get into the spirit. Just let yourself go and you'll feel it right now.)

Okay so you mention soul groups and possible twin flames. Do you think if you reincarnate you will be with your husband again?

Maybe it is not a "feeling" but an "Action".

Maybe Heaven is only Heaven because the residents there are full of Mercy (Compassion, Forgiving).

I honestly don't know.
I would like to think yes.

The theory about soul groups and soul mates does go with reincarnation.
Each life time deals with different karma.
The ones we marry and have children with establish a karmic debt.
The twin flame isn't a relationship for me. I just acknowledge that it is there that's all.
I described some of my experiences well one of them, the one where I felt like I was created. It felt like I was connected to someone and we split apart at the time we left the source (God).
I couldn't figure out if it was him or the other.
It was weird because I never thought of it like that before.
Then my husband turned to me and described the same thing. That we had been joined together in an earlier time. It was weird.
I'm still working through all this.
It only came about after he stopped drinking. So he was clear of all toxins. I tell you this because it was odd that we got to this after being together for 17 yrs.
I walk a fine line with my faith being Methodist. I try not to contradict doctrine, my husband tends towards a more strict view but understands that I like clarity and understanding.
Something had to explain why my chakras were all feeling weird.
So even though I'm Christian I'm just like anybody else trying to understand stuff.

Reflexively I raised my arms in thanks and adoration for my Lord’s love in showing me Heaven’s wonders which were mysteries to me. As I bowed my head, I noted a glowing pure-white gown which somehow I had not seen when I looked through it in search of organs ! I was awed by its total weightlessness and silky softness.

My raised arms had parted its overlapping folds for the moment, revealing me as a neuter ! This came as a shock, although I had not felt surprise at the absence of defects or scars. This alteration was so unexpected !

"Lord Jesus, why am I now a neuter? I was a man."

"Yes, Dick, you were always a man, a child of God who returned Our love by telling others of the Good News about Me. Remember? You read in My Book the very first order I gave to Adam and Eve: ‘Be fruitful and multiply!’ I told them to replenish the Earth, not Heaven.

Again I told the Sadducees (who did not believe in a Resurrection) that they ‘knew not the Scriptures’ when they speculated about wives in Heaven. I explained that after resurrection all would be like angels who do not marry nor raise families. Everything in Heaven is created or re-created into perfection! It is all in My Book. None other is Truth!

And according to some others...Here is what a Catholic theologian says:

www.dennyburk.com...

Dr. Peter Kreeft is a Catholic theologian of the Thomist tradition. Last Spring he delivered a lecture at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina (Yes, a Roman Catholic addressing Baptists!). The title of his lecture was “Will There Be Sex in Heaven?,” and this lecture is one you will not want to miss.

The short answer he gives to the question in the title is “yes.” The answer is “yes” mainly because gender distinctions continue in the new creation. The resurrection of the body is a restoration project, not an obliteration of something so deep as our maleness or femaleness. Thus gender complementarity will always be a part of us, even in the age to come.

So if there is a heaven, I suspect it to be a very loving place where you remember everything still. Most people say in heaven the love is like brother and sister and that's it. But why do they think that? On earth, we are able to love differently but equally. I can love my mom very much and I also can love my boyfriend very much but it's just differently. It's still pure love. Just like having 3 different children...you'd do anything for all of them.

I suppose in heaven there wouldn't exactly be "relationships" and we could care less about them but I feel like the "feeling" you have towards someone will be the same from remembering but fulfilling that relationship as you did on earth wouldn't even matter.

Say if I had two husbands because one passed away (God forbid!), I would still recognize the romantic love but some how we'd still coexist in heaven in peace. Not saying sex would matter since I think it's not necessary. But if choose to reincarnate, if given choice, I wouldn't prefer my mother to be my husband in a next life.

Actually, I'm not too depressed about reincarnation as long as I can remember after returning to "heaven" and if reincarnated within the same circle of people I care about....and as long as my partner is in my next life romantically some how.

You are using notions of heaven and reincarnation that are at 'cross-purposes', to ask questions based on these (and your preferences/attachments now).

Consequently, your understanding is jumbled and full of questions that lead to more questions that do not make sense, in context of original questions, that are based on notions at cross-purposes...

You will need to simplify your inderstanding...

Guys, Peter Kreeft is not a theologian, Catholic or otherwise. Peter Kreeft is a HERETIC.

Here is WHY things such as this make no sense at all:

The Real Conspiracy the Jesuit infiltration of Christianity

The truth is that the more you examine the traditional wisdoms associated with life and death and the afterlife, the more you run into problems with how any of these beliefs can possibly be true or even workable to any extent. Sure, it's easy to just dismiss such questions with bad poetry or quasi-intellectual bits of jargon that have been kicking around for 100s of years, but if your answer depends on faith or a surrender to the disturbing claim that humans can't know and haven't the right to know why an assertion makes no sense whatsoever, then you're not doing anything but shutting down the conversation.

When a person dies, they're simply tossing away the machinery that was brought "on line" to build the person they've become. No one changes as a result of dying. They may feel a sense of loving acceptance and feel suddenly free of worries, but they're still the same person they were before they died (if 100% of NDE accounts agreeing on one overriding aspect of the experience means anything, of course). The "visceral" drives, however, based on DNA instinct survival urges (like hunger and pain and procreative urges and fatigue) are no longer present, but that doesn't eliminate the person's deeply established association between affection and love or sex and intimacy, and their association between either and their own experience of pleasure or pain, if that's how they've seen those associations over the whole of their own lifetime. The DNA isn't driving it, but by then, the psychological drivers have long been in charge of those kinds of responses anyway. Especially when the person has had a full life of romantic and sexual relationships.

And the truth is that what you expect the hereafter to be is how it will initially be for you. From there, the way it develops for you will be affected by who and what you invite into your ongoing experience, but nothing is "off the table" as far as what is plausible as an afterlife experience. You can even "experience" reincarnation - even though it's yet another "traditional wisdom" tenet that's just not true - if you fully believe that you're experiencing such a reincarnation. In short, it's your hereafter, and you're in charge of what it is for you. 100% subjective perception, and no limits whatsoever once you're freed of the "reality anchors" of the material realm.
