thanks for the uplifting words!

going through some hell this week, sorry about the bitter edge.

XD

bitter as a green persimmon after all

Have you noticed how the "system slaves" (i.e. social workers and doctors) HATE it when because of the Web, you are more informed than they are?

It hurts my confidence in self-education when those "public servants" knock internet education.

Isn't auto-didactism a sign of value??

LOL take care and thank you!

I'll have to look that word up haha. I'll figure that one out, but in the mean time, doctors and others with (teachings) are very protective of THEIR knowledge. Whether you are bringing up real info and they don't know it, or whether you are bringing up things they know about it doesn't matter.

These people should at least be able to explain whether you are wrong or right, and why. Of course, it is then up to you to decide whether their answer is satisfactory.

How about Ayn Rand the author?
That was my first thought.

Some would say she has a satanic philosophy

All in all "Being there" is a great movie, and it shows "Peter Sellers" acting talents to the max. I have seen it a few times, and i never watched it looking for conspiracies, i just watched it.
There is no conspiracy to the movie, it's just a good movie, very poignant about a man's plain, and simple life.
I think what the Movie is trying to portray is that we should all live our life's in a simple way?.
I know it's too late for that, mores the pity.

Having read Fountainhead (part of it) and ANTHEM (very short read well worth it!),
I conclude that Rand never made peace with God, however she did fight the "mark of the beast" i.e. stupidity, annihilation of the self, the God-image, conscience, soul, spirit of discovery and love,

not necessarily Luciferian. And the word Lucifer itself, as a Christian on the fence, I have to admit,
the word is not synonymous with Satan!

Lucifer translates to light-giver, or light source.
I do not want to be accused of blasphemy,
but I think maybe to some pagans (old belief system) and to agnostics, they have many different words for what Christians call the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Carl Jung viewed the spirit in his dreams as a dove, sometimes male, sometimes female, depending on the time of day, the one you get to see is different. The time of day is a metaphor for the ages of mankind. Light and darkness, progress and feudalism, the great cycle of civilization eating itself away and rebuilding from the ashes.

We should never seek to destroy before we have tried to save.
Ayn Rand might have supported the "georgia guidestones" kind of thinking.

But Christ said, "the fields are white with harvest"
"listen not to those who would say, in three months is the harvest"
"The fields are white with harvest"

Our harvest is helping our fellow man and reaping the love.
Not rebuilding civilization from the ashes of our fellow man.

She also wrote Atlas Shrugged, called a blueprint for ushering in the NWO

In 1957, a 1,168 page book by Ayn Rand, called Atlas Shrugged, was published. According to one source, Rand was alleged to be a mistress to Philippe Rothschild, who instructed her to write the book in order to show that through the raising of oil prices, then destroying the oil fields and shutting down the coal mines, the Illuminati would take over the world. It also related how they would blow up grain mills, derail trains, bankrupt and destroy their own companies, till they had destroyed the economy of the entire world; and yet, they would be so wealthy, that it would not substantially affect their vast holdings. The novel is about a man who stops the motor of the world, of what happens when “the men of the mind, the intellectuals of the world, the originators and innovators in every line of industry go on strike; when the men of creative ability in every profession, in protest against regulation, quit and disappear.”

Is Atlas Shrugged a coded blueprint for the Illuminati’s plans of bringing this world to a point where they can institute a one world government? It certainly is thought provoking, and it is included only for the sake of conjecture. Being that the Illuminati is destroying our economy, and they do control the corporate structure of the United States, if not the world, there just may be something to this book, and maybe we should consider it a warning.

edit: thank you for the link/etc

I understand the NWO frustration with ignorance and greed.
However, it all boils down to hypocrisy.
Unless we are to believe that none of the big names are in the know,
we are to believe that they know what they are doing is wrong.
And they are doing it to us.

Ayn Rand sounds like "the girl in the red velvet swing with a typewriter on her lap too"

LOL

No, Atlas Shrugged, is NOT a blueprint for the NWO take-over.

The NWO take-over is real and is using Socialism as its basic political system.

I read Atlas Shrugged years ago in college, along with a number of her other books, such as Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal , The Fountainhead , We the Living , The Romantic Manifesto , and The Virtue of Selfishness .

Rand’s work was everything about individual human rights.

The following quotes of the book’s synopsis is taken from Wikipedia:

“The book (Atlas Shrugged) explores a dogmatic dystopian United States where many of society's most productive citizens refuse to be exploited by increasing taxation and government regulations and go on strike.”

“The refusal evokes the imagery of what would happen if the mythological Atlas refused to continue to hold up the world.”

“They are led by John Galt. Galt describes the strike as ‘stopping the motor of the world’ by withdrawing the minds that drive society's growth and productivity. “

“In their efforts, these people ‘of the mind’ hope to demonstrate that a world in which the individual is not free to create is doomed, that civilization cannot exist where every person is a slave to society and government, and that the destruction of the profit motive leads to the collapse of society.”

“The protagonist, Dagny Taggart, sees society collapse around her as the government increasingly asserts control over all industry.”

en.wikipedia.org...

There have also been movies released this year (2012) to get the basic ideas out to the masses,
“Atlas Shrugged, Part 1” and “Atlas Shrugged, Part 2” -- before the Nov election.

This upcoming election is the most important one I’ve seen.

It’s the fork in the road where Americans will choose which path to follow:

Capitalism & individual human rights or Socialism & the right’s of the Collective.

what was the movie? What was the context this was shown in?

I mean, if it was a cooking show, it would be severely out of place,

Notice the word RAND there?

A lot of movies do that.

Maybe I am a bit too paranoid but still??? Why show that?

Maybe because the character Benjamin Rand was being entombed in the pyramid, his grave.

I thought it was very clever -- that Rand was being entombed in this symbol of kings, the Illuminati (in popular imagination), the Great Seal of the US, and the US Dollar. A character like Rand (obscenely rich), would be seen as someone who worshipped money all his life. In this case, the pyramid serves as "temple of money" -- a symbol of the money he worshipped and it would be fitting that he would be entombed in it.

I also like how the eye seems to be weeping for the death of a "king."

That scene makes sense with the rest of the movie having to do with what I already mentioned.
"It seemed to be something about being enlightened or Jesus like. I can't quite remember."

Something along these lines:
"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light."

The Gardener walks on water.. Remember?

The Biblical quote, "...your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light" refers to the Third Eye (pineal gland) opening and the raising of consciousness.

It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, I'd like to see it again. I remember hearing Karl Rove say that "Being There" gave one a fairly accurate picture of what happens in Washington DC. I thought that was worth noting.

As for Chance, the character played by Peter Sellers, walking on water at the end -- what that meant to me was that the gardener's innocence & purity gave him the power to perform miracles

I never read Kosinski's book (that the movie is based on), so I'm not sure that I'm on the right track with that.

More obfuscation. The "Great Game". We, "the profane", will remain so because we refuse to play games.

We, too, are on a journey and it is one of great patience with the children and their secrets.

The "Great Work" mentioned by Dustytoad is a very different thing from the "Great Game."

The term "Great Work" is used in Western ceremonial magic(k) to mean achieving "the knowledge and conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel" which is another way of saying "realizing God."

The "Great Game" refers to a quote from Lord George Curson, something about the nation that controls the Mid-East controls the world. I would have to look it up.

Not even in the same arena.

Ayn Rand May be related to the same people behind RAND corp.

She was the one who made the Atlas Shrugged books. Have you read them? Full of hidden philosophies. Seems to predict the coming darkness.

Ayn Rand was not related to "the same people behind the RAND corp."

Ayn Rand was a Russian Jewess who saw firsthand what happened to Russia when the Communists took over. It was her life's mission to warn people about Communism. Rand was not her birth name nor her husband's name.

RAND is an acronym taken from the words "Research ANd Development" -- it's a nonprofit think tank.

The image is pretty clear and to the point in this movie. If the movie is about religious enlightenment then the image would fit right in with that.

From what I have learned of the RAND corp. it appears they want to enforce some kind of global capitalism in which everyone becomes either a product or a profit generating human machine.
