Reporters Preparing to Cover Debate By Drinking Free Beer

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Some of the reporters covering tonight’s presidential debate at Hofstra University in Long Island may be F.W.I.–filing while intoxicated. Anheuser-Busch is apparently a sponsor of tonight’s rhetorical battle and the beer company has set up a “hospitality tent” outside the media filing center where reporters are being treated to free food, brews and souvenir glasses.

politicker.com...

There ya go folks drinking and debating don't mix!

Free beer for those who are covering the presidential debate then how do we know that their reporting was indeed accurate?

How indeed!

There ya go folks liberals who covered the debate and who said Obama won was just under the influence.

Conservatives who covered the debate and said Romney won was just under the influence.

So now we can clearly call it a draw due to being under the influence of BEER!.

I kind of wish Romney and Obama had visited this tent before the debate - maybe then we would have gotten the truth.

i think we should ask how often are they sober when reporting the news. at least it seems like they are hammered when writing news stories.

What is that quote from? It is quite possibly the truest statement ever uttered.

You do have a point there haha, I would just have to chug 'em to get that flow of words going, haha!

I also agree it would've been a lot more interesting had Barack and Mitt had a 4 drink minimum before the debate. Maybe some BL Platinum so we get to hear their internal dialogue.

What a brilliant idea...get the candidates sloppy drunk before debating..lets see them talk without their wall, and of course see who starts throwing punches first.
