I do see. I only realized about that after I had come back into this thread later on and read someone else's post.

So yes they are totally different ways to go about it.

Tree cuttings FTW over Cell cloning in a lab any day of the week.

Well, aside from the argument over the difference between taking cuttings and somatic cloning there is another issue here..

Another bad harvest onto the ever growing list of bad harvests and food shortages this year. I was reading only this morning about tons of our potato crop this year has been ruined by blight. We're gonna be paying through the nose for foodstuffs of all varieties in a few months time. Don't like the way all this is heading..

They have been cloned they are GMOs.

There is no genetic modification. The plants are not GMOs.
