Oh what a contrast!! Makes me wonder even more... Did the US intentionally ignore requests for more security knowing what was about to happen. This is crazy and needs to be front and center in every major newspaper and broadcast until we finally get the truth.

Anyway...Enjoy Barbados!!

When terrorists attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11 of this year and killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, there were no U.S. Marines deployed in Libya to defend U.S. diplomats, diplomatic facilities and classified information and equipment.

However, says the State Department, a Marine Security Detachment was deployed on that day to carry out those duties at the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados.

“U.S. Marine Security Guards serve at the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, and at other diplomatic missions around the world, to protect and safeguard American diplomacy,” Rebecca Ross, the U.S. Embassy to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Counselor for Public Affairs, said in a statement to CNSNews.com.

“On September 11, 2012, our U.S. Marine Security Detachment carried out its regular duties which include providing internal security, preventing the compromise of classified information and equipment, and providing protection for U.S. citizens and property located within official U.S. facilities,” Ross said.

cnsnews.com...

I guess the security threat must be far greater in Barbados than in Benghazi....

Priorities anyone?? Will this question even come up in tomorrow nights debate?? It damn well better..

P.S.

On August 16, less than a month before the terrorists struck the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, the U.S. Marine Security Guard Force in Barbados led a physical fitness test for young athletes.

REALLY!!!!

So...let's see. Utilize American Military resources to protect a vacation paradise...or....a hot bed of terrorist activity....

Yup...the vacation paradise...that's our current administration for ya.....

Someone needs to be held accountable for the murders of Ambassador Stevens and the other brave Americans, who didn't stand a chance in their own Embassy.

[sarcasm]
Oh, I see. I guess we only have ONE Marine security team to protect all embassies, and Obama had that ONE team in Barbados, right?
[/sarcasm]

I honestly don't get your point. The team in Barbados had no bearing on what happend in Libya.

It's called prioritizing. Lack of prioritizing by this administration on the anniversary of 9/11, or something even more sinister, got 4 Americans murdered in Libya. Don't you get it....

My dad sent me the following article/link. It goes along with your topic. The lies this administration has told on this are inexcusable.

Boldly Into The Breach

Posted on September 21, 2012 by sundancecracker

Will the real life story of incredible bravery, and the extreme courage of warriors Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods be lost just because of Machiavellian politics ?

Even if the true story of their heroism casts an uncomfortable light of truth upon the lies told by President Obama and his administration we will tell it. They deserve it.

President Obama implied, quite intentionally, in his Weekly Address that Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were part of Ambassador Christopher Steven’s security detail:

“Glen and Tyrone had each served America as Navy SEALs for many years, before continuing their service providing security for our diplomats in Libya. They died as they lived their lives — defending their fellow Americans, and advancing the values that all of us hold dear.

-President Obama (Weekly address)

Sounds good, the only problem is this statement is a total fabrication. It was worded to imply Ambassador Stevens had more security than actually existed. Yes, they were both former Navy SEAL’s, but neither Tyrone nor Glen were part of the Ambassadors official security detail.

Vienna gets Chevy volts.
Barbados gets marines.

Benghazi got the shaft, and burned.

Threads today said there was plenty of money to go to Benghazi 2 billion, and yet we have 4 dead Americans.

Reality tv was more important
Letterman was more important
Leno was more important
The View was more important

than attending daily presidential briefings sure they can claim "they didn't know" or whatever anyway people slice Benghazi it shows incompetence,
