Don't think it will be long now before this escalates into a full Turkish invasion.

www.presstv.ir...

Turkey has scrambled two fighter planes to its border with Syria after a Syrian military helicopter bombed the country’s border town of Azmarin.

Turkish military move on Friday come as intense fighting between insurgents and Syrian government forces were reported this week in Azmarin and neighboring towns in Syria.

On Thursday, a voice amplified through loudspeakers in Azmarin, audible from the village of Hacipasa in Turkey's Hatay Province, calling on insurgents to surrender, warning of an air assault.

Along with the fighter jets, 250 tanks have been deployed to the border also-

Earlier in the day, Ankara dispatched 250 tanks along with military vehicles of the Turkish Armed Forces, artillery units and a large number of military personnel to the southeastern provinces of Sanliurfa, Gaziantep and Mardin at the Turkish-Syrian border.

It's sad to see this unfold and I truly dread to think what the cost to the civilians will be in Syria

This war was planned or known about for quite some time.

I highly doubt that we've seen the last of this, it will escalate. Right now both parties are still flexing muscles, showing off their military capabilities. Not to mention the outside influences that may be at play behind the scenes.

The world's superpowers will we watching closely, I suppose so will we.

Finally, it's starting to heat up.

I thought this was going to drag out forever and then fizz out.

Syria can handle Turkey easily enough (their chemical stockpile would burn Turkey to the ground) but if Iran joins in (they are strong allies with Syria) and smacks Turkey from the east we will see NATO jumping in, bombing Syria to pieces before Iran pounces on them and takes out two or three states.

Ohh Yeah!

...or maybe we should simply embrace who we are, and what made us that.

Of course there are other species as hostile, or even more so, as humans. I would list them but I think it might be good for you to take a peek outside you comfy little box and enlighten yourself a bit.

With Turkey pissing off Russia, most of it's population and it's neighbors ? lol
Erdogan acting like a child with a tantrum who just lost his ball in the big dogs yard.
If Turkey gets involved in Syria,it will be political suicide.

Do you really think Turkey, is that weak that some chemical weapons would stop them, from all out assault?

I think Turkey could take Iran, if it wanted to, without NATO, or UN support.

Example:

Turkey Iran
Total Land-Based Weapons 69,774 12,393
Defense Budget / Expenditure $25,000,000,000 $9,174,000,000

Well actually the animal kingdom is pretty harsh.
Ya ever watch what lions or chimps it is brutal. War sucks but to tell ya the truth no amount of belly aching is going to stop one single war. All you can do is worry about how you treat others.

You do know Turkey and Iran, are the two powers in that region, vying for superiority.

Second, Syria is no match for Turkey, even combining Iran and Syria.

Third, Turkey doesn't want a Nuclear Iran.

Turkey adamantly opposes Iran's development of a nuclear weapon, believing that Tehran's possession of nuclear weapons would alter the regional balance of power and embolden Iranian hardliners to pursue a more provocative foreign policy.
