Yeah, that would tend to make me altogether ignore their posts, too.

I think Putin is endorsing Bush because he knows that Bush is tougher on terrorism than Kerry. And if it helps Russian companies to win some rebuilding contracts, well that's OK too.

This was Bush's reward for ignoring Putin's increasing his totalitarianism in Russia.

The way to test Putin's assertions (misquoted as they are) is to hand Bush over to "terrorists" and see if they are satiated.

So, the Russian President who just liquidated democracy in his own country is supporting Bush.

I think the reason Putin came out in support of bush is simple really. As the only other country which has suffered major terrorists attacks (not to discount the madrid train bombings but the casuality count was nowhere near as bad as either 9/11 or beslan) He knows that Bush would be a better ally in the war on terror than Kerry. As a leader who must protect his people from terrorsm I belkieve putn wants smeone he can count on to stay on the offense as much as he knows he will have to. Lets face it who would dirty harry want more as a partner john wayne, or paul mccartney?

Only other country to suffer terrorist attacks... how can you take yourself seriously, let alone expect others to?!?! Either be more specific i.e. say only country to suffer attacks by MUSLIM TERRORISTS or don't bother coz you are making your self look silly.

Britain was usffering from terror attacks scince the jews were bombing them in jerusalem (biggest british terro attack was the king david hotel bombing), the the Irish came along and dropped a few...

Huh? Unconventional warfare for goals unobtainable through normal
diplomatic channels has been around a very long time, and at one time
or another fighters using such tactics have fought in most countries.
