I think the video was made for her school project or whatever and was for school not some factual story about her life. I have no doubt that she flashed someone on the net and that she was bullied in school, however the media is trying to spin this like it was all about online bullying, even though the problems at her new school came from her getting with some other girls boyfriend. If that situation was reversed and that other girl killed herself because some girl took her boyfriend then Amanda would be the monster. She was put on anti-depressants and if you read the labels of on them they ALL have suicidal thoughts and tendencies as a side effect. so what is more likely to cause suicide? A drug or the internet? I think it is just way to early to jump on this bandwagon of blaming bullying for this, there was probably a LOT more going on that we are not going to hear about because bullying is such a buzzword right now.

Okay, to have ANY porn as your profile pic will get you B& from facebook and complaint from her would have resulted in getting V&. The RCMP is looking into to IF that whole facebook thing actually happened and they are also looking into substance abuse. They are not mounting an investigation over a claim that someone used child porn as a profile pic.

Everyone is talking about "Oh you have no empathy for people" and that is just wrong.... This story doesn't deserve my empathy or sympathy imho... This girl put herself into this situation, not only did she put herself there towards the end she had a way out with this video, that was her chance to accept and receive the support she needed....

The fact is I feel sympathy and empathy for people who have no control over their situations... If someone is getting abused or molested by their parents or other sick twisted people and commit suicide, I would be the first one to sit here and say they were just in their decision because those are the type of people who had no way out, there hands were forced, hers were not....

You don't know what the entire investigation entails. Chances are, if they decide to prosecute someone for this, you can guarantee the crown will ask for it.
